Using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients we will put our spin on comfort food that will leave you to… savor the taste.
"To keep this short the food is always pretty good. I enjoy the unique menu selections and after many visits I have always been happy with the quality of the food. The service and management are weak. The servers are kind but inexperienced and owner has a lack of a connection with the customer. I am a regular customer who will not be returning. I tried to write about my bad experience but there isn't enough space. My last visit left us very angry - not a feeling I want to have when going out to eat."

"We ate here for the first time and loved everything we had! Soup starters were great! Dinner was the Coca Cola Meatloaf and the fish special which was Wahoo (seared on outside perfectly). So wonderful and flavorful!! Portions were large. Dessert was a blueberry cobbler that was like grandma's! Enough for 2!!"

"1st time for dinner here after an outstanding brunch. Seated quickly. Specials were recited right away. This is a byo so we were immediately brought all the accoutrements for our drinks. We were not rushed to order, so we leisurely ordered appetizers while we perused the menu. Stuffed long hots were excellent, prosciutto wrapped shrimp were flavorful and juicy. Shipping sauce was divine. The entrees we ordered were all cooked and seasoned perfectly. The crab cakes special was delicious. The salmon amazing! Scallops cooked perfectly. All of the risotto was also well seasoned and cooked perfectly. My guests and I raved while we ate at how delicious the food was. No desserts this time but they sure looked great!!"

"I was very skeptical after reading mixed reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised by my service and the food was quite good, the prices very reasonable, and the ability to buy a bottle of wine was great. We will definitely return."

"Decided at the last minute to go out for dinner on Friday night. We always run into someone we know here. This night we enjoyed their special designer pizzas and got to hear from the owner how some of his ideas are created. Looking forward to the next time we go."

"Absolutely loved the pretzel crust pizza... we asked for it with a runny egg. They were happy to comply and it was delicious. The duck special was also very good. I am not a huge fan of duck and I really enjoyed it. It was a little overcooked for my husband, who prefers it to be much more rare, but it was fried, so he knew it would be more well done. French onion soup was unique. More sweet than most, but in a good way. The weakness in our meal was dessert. Nothing to write home about. But in all, we will definitely return!"

"Top Notch was decent. Not really anything special, but considering the lack of any restaurants in the area, at least they are giving it a shot. I hope the menu improves as time goes on. It's inexpensive and worth a try."

"My girlfriend and I were looking forward to trying out a new place in the neighborhood so I made a reservation through opentable and found Top Notch. It was close and convenient and a perfect time for us. When we got there, it was closed! We were very disappointed since this is fairly new and finally had the opportunity to go. Apparently, they had to close due to a break in. Understandably, but who knows when we will get out again to try it. I have heard good things about Top Notch but still unable to make it there. At this time, unable to rate."

"Four of us tried this restaurant for the first time (and it happened to be Restaurant Week)and from the 1st course we were all hooked! The pretzel pizzetta, cheesesteak spring rolls and fried green tomatoes are all fabulous. The arugula salad is great (loved the dressing and the dried figs)and for the main course three of us ordered the lobster bolognese--oh wow! As much as I'd want to try something new when we go back (b/c we will be back!) I may have to get this again, it was just that good. I also tried a bite of my sister's scallops and they were delicious too (and I'm not always a huge fan of scallops, they are hit or miss). For dessert three of us had the apple cobbler and it was the perfect ending to an already perfect meal :)"

"Second time here and we will be back again. So glad Main Street Medford has this place. Just a fun place to go for some good comfort food like meat loaf (trust me its good) or a personal designer pizza. BYOB but they also just started selling select wines as well. Atmosphere boarders on loud, but in a friendly enegergetic way. Took us 15 minutes to leave since we had to chat with a few other friends that had come in while we were eating."

"I visited the restaurant for a wonderful lunch of Marghetia pizza. However, the experience was not good at all when I returned with my family last Sunday. Besides no ambiance the food was not so good. My son's hamburger was undercooked and not served with ketchup instead came with some type of sauce for fries. My husband did enjoy the chicken pot pie but his stuffed long hot peppers were only stuffed with a cheese when instead should have had cheese and a meat. The cheesesteak sliders were like paste and did not look appetizing. It is amazing how this area can not produce a strong restaurant with great food, drinks, prices and atmosphere. We always wish we had a restaurant near home like the ones we drool over while watching Diners Dr"

"Everyone at our table was very satisfied with their meal. We would definitely go there again! Our waitress was very accommodating and knew the menu, when we had any questions about the food. I would recommend giving top notch a try"

"Went to Top Notch for my Birthday celebration. We started with shrimp wrapped prosciutto. Although tasty I thought the shrimp was over done. The entrée I had was branzino over spinach and polenta. I thought the fish (which I always love) to be very salty and the fish again overcooked. When I mentioned this to the waitress she said I should order something else next time. Next time?"

"Very solid menu with some unique dishes, all well-prepared and tasty. Meatloaf met the definition of substantial comfort food, and red snapper special was excellent. Small, basic dining room. Excellent, friendly service. Will definitely return."

"We were excited to try Top Notch for the first time! But it was a disappointment. The server we had was not attentive and we needed to ask her about the specials. Being that it was Valentine's day she explained that the menu was a combination of specials. I ordered the linguini with lobster which had little flavor and the texture of the lobster was dry and stringy. I didn't eat that much of it, but the server didn't seem to notice and I thought she would have asked if there was something wrong with my entree. The dessert, which was creme brulee, was very good. We will try this restaurant again, and I'm hoping for a better experience."

"The food & service was very good. Creative pizza menu; I enjoyed the pulled pork with broccoli rabe. The only minor complaint is portion size for the $26 scallops dish. Dessert blondie was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant."

"Visited for the first time back on 1/19. Nice decor (major breath of fresh air from when it was Scotch Bonnets). I think the restaurant was rather overwhelmed with the crowd which made service a bit shaky at times. Food was good and I am sure the service staff will grow into the handling rushes better over time. Worth a second look in about a month.
Not sure why they are suddenly unavailable on Open Table though."

"Hidden Gem! A great addition to the south jersey dining scene. Went with a party of five and the food had great variety which pleased everyone. All dinners came out hot and were served pleasantly. The ability to take our own wine was a plus. My only criticism is that we had reservations and had to wait. Do they overbook and are afraid to turn away walk-ins or is it so new everyone wants to try it? Time will tell."

"We went on a Saturday night and it was very busy.It was very noisy inside, and after some time with the menu, we ordered the Cheesesteak Spring Roll appetizer to share, salads, and our entrees. The salads and appetizer came out at the exact same time, which crowded our small table. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie, which I really regret. It was a cast iron crock with a runny creamy chicken soup and a foccacia cracker sitting on top, wasn't a pie at all. The other food looked good so I'd give it another shot. The appetizer was very good. The salads were nothing special."
