"On The website this looked really good. It was very ordinary. The special panini were not even grilled properly to be called panini. They were tasteless sandwiches."

"Tried Livia's Dish after reading a review in the paper. Food was fresh, tasty and well presented. Waitress was very accomodating and friendly without being pushy. All in all, a very good experience. Will go back to try breakfast."

Review 3 for Livia's Dish, A Unique Dining Experience
"This seems a popular neighborhood place (breakfast, lunch, and dinner some days), with a somewhat upscale ambiance. We were there for dinner and the food was very well prepared: a chicken and eggplant stack and a lasagne bolognese that tasted nicely of chicken liver. Salads were thoughtfully prepared and good. Some nice light house-made bread and hummus was provided for the table."

Review 5 for Livia's Dish, A Unique Dining Experience
"What a great find! A comfortable, classy, friendly Italian restaurant with excellent food carefully prepared and presented. Nothing fancy, but nothing shabby about it, either. Easy to find (Main St., past Clark U, heading towards the Leicester line). Two of us had drinks, appetizer, entree, for less than $60 (not including tip). Service was attentive and congenial without being over-bearing. It seemed quiet for a Saturday evening -- perhaps Livia's Dish has not yet been 'discovered' as a night spot? All in all, this restaurant has everything going for it: casual yet polished atmosphere, good menu, reasonable prices, off-street parking. It could easily become our go-to spot when we're too tired to cook!"

Review 6 for Livia's Dish, A Unique Dining Experience
"We were a late seating at 1 PM. They booked reservations until 2. By the time we got there the buffet area was a mess, the amount of grease in the bacon pan rendered the bacon inedible. We wanted to try this place for Easter but were delayed until Mother's Day. Hopefully their menu provides a better dining experience."

Review 9 for Livia's Dish, A Unique Dining Experience
"I was drawn by the Mother's Day Brunch and made a reservations for 6. Parking is limited, and the location is a bit odd. We arrived 10 minutes early and were seated immediately. Service was excellent, we never felt rushed to leave. I felt at home and comfortable. The food was amazing, very fresh. Portions in the buffet were just the right size, nothing too big. There were so many little details which brought this restaurant to outstanding. I cannot wait to go back."

Review 10 for Livia's Dish, A Unique Dining Experience
"We went for Mother's Day brunch, which I'm guessing is the reason that everything was so mediocre. When we arrived for our reservation there was another party at our table, I believe that they had overstayed their welcome and so the staff had to scramble to find us a table. They put one together right by the server's station. We were so close that the setvers kept bumping into us. By the time brunch was over my purse which had been hanging on the back of my chair was covered in water and coffee. The brunch was served buffet style in warming trays, so everything from the waffles and home fries to the overlooked roast beef was really dry and not delicious. I'm hoping its just because it was a holiday. Not sure if we'll try Livia's again."

Review 11 for Livia's Dish, A Unique Dining Experience
"We arrived late for lunch/brunch on a Sunday afternoon. The place was empty except for one table. We all had panini's with homemade frites. The ingredients were fresh and the frites very thin and crispy. However, alot of the food was very salty and I like salt! One person had the pancakes which were light and tasty. The prices were reasonable and they offered free refills on the sodas. The service was decent, not great and the food was a tad slow -- they never offered bread or water during the wait.
All in all I think it has great potential, would give it a try for sure for dinner."

"Tucked away near the Leicester line, many may miss this great find. we went on Valentine Day so there was a special menu that included a complimentary glass of champagne. Wonderful setting in the converted first floor of a triple decker."
