"It wa 4 of us for Mother's day Brunch and the restaurant was not prepared.They kept running out of items and you had to wait on a few things to be replenished.They actually ran out of a few desserts and some things did not seem fresh.We were compensated for some of the meal but expected more from a supposedly high end seafood and steakhouse.Our waiter Robert was great though."

"I am thrilled that there is finally a great seafood place in West Kendall and the food is great, but when asked how I would rate the noise level, I wouldn't say "energetic" - the only adjective provided even close to how I would describe it. A bar is energetic. If I am sitting down at a nice restaurant spending this kind of money, I don't want it to be so loud that I can't hear my waitress speak. On a positive note, that's the only negative I could find and it wouldn't prevent me from going back."

"I took a friend to Devon for a special birthday. Considering how fancy the place is and the price level, I expected to be wowed. I was not. To start, my martini was not properly chilled -- oddly, it seemed not chilled at all despite the fact that it was shaken and poured at the table. The rest of the food was uneven. Some dishes were great (shrimp ceviche) and some quite lacking (strawberry shortcake desert). Our waiter was having an off day too. I would say he was not genuine -- that is, he was pleasant enough but "phoning it in." Given that it is a very beautiful place trying to provide a fine dining experience in West Kendall, I would give them one more try."

"I was first struck by the high level of customer service from every single member of the staff. The host was courteous and genuine, the men who brought our water and biscuits had truly sincere smiles on their faces. Our waiter was exceptional, and completely unpretentious, which was a surprise to me seeing how amazing the food and presentation was. Not only was our waiter attentive and personable, but he called the manager over when he heard that I went to the University of Michigan, and the manager chatted with us. He was also completely unpretentious, but had the utmost level of customer service.
And that was before the food came. My fish was so fresh, and grilled to perfection, and my cocktail was expertly crafted. Beautiful."

"I went there with my wwife and daughter ti try it out. What a fantastic experience. We ordered from the happy hour menu sort of like a tapas menu. Really enjoyed trying many dishes. In particular the bruschetta, lobster mac n cheese, tuna tartare were excellent. All the dishes were plated beautifully, the service was excellent, the complimentary biscuit is fabulous, and the ambience is wonderful. The front entrance is a bit underwelming and needs sprucing uo, but once you get in the door it is fantastic. I plan,to bring my other kids here when they get back from college."

"Would have given food a 5 but one diner in our group ordered the Wagyu beef and it was of such poor quality, he didn't finish it. When the manager was making his rounds we let him know that having had Wagyu beef on different occasions, we felt that maybe this wasn't true Wagyu beef. We have eaten here many times and the food is ALWAYS excellent and we told him so. He promptly credited the beef dish without our asking and apologized for the quality. We always ask for Lenin to be our server and he is wonderful. The lobster mac and cheese and the duck flatbread is wonderful. The carrot cake and key lime is amazing and the warm biscuits served on arrival are oh so good! Love this local spot in Kendall!"

"Although the Waiter was quite amiable, he took quite long to bring items to the table such as Champagne Glass, silverware. When asked for butter, was told to go get it from the Cold Bar ourselves.
Observed that the Wait Staff as well as some staff which looked like Management making comments between the partition (Kitchen and Dining Room) and were having a blast laughing at what appeared to be at the clients expense. I observed some of the female wait Staff even rolled their eyes to other waiters when a cusotmer asked them for something. This was not appropriate for what appears to be a high-end Dining Establishment, as you would not even see such behavior at a fast food restaurant.
Brunch was good for the price."

"What an over the top dining experience. We snagged a private tall table overlooking the water and enjoyed a very private dinner. Our waitress made wonderful suggestions for wine and dinner selections. We will be back!"

"Atmosphere was lovely. Very welcoming. Food was quite good. Waiter was very friendly. However, we were not offered a roll that we saw others get, and when we finished our dinner, the waiter just gave us the chech without asking if we wanted any coffee or dessert. We were syrprised, it was our anniversary and the waiter did bring us complimentary champagne. We would return."
