"went on Father's Day for dinner with my husband.....quiet....sat us near window area tucked away ...first tapas experience
needed lots of help choosing on the menu..did the dinner for 2, was fun and got lots of help from really nice and great waiter named Lewis.
all of the food courses were presented very well and were tasty....by the time the entree"paella" came , it was huge and delicious, but not enought room to finish, so we took it home, left overs were even better....only think negative was I thought the place and decor looked a bit rundown and outdated, needs to be freshened up...otherwise we enjoyed it."

"Bocado was an amazing surprise. The variety of the menu and the fancy decoration make of this restaurant and amazing place to be on a special occasion or just to get out of routine. The different types of paella, sangrias and tapas show the creativity of the place. We even went back the next day for dessert!!"

"We went on a Friday night with our neighbors who had never been there before. We were do glad the food and the server lived up to our "hype". This is one of our favorite restaurants in Worcester and with good reason. We've never had a bad meal our bad service nor has anyone to whom we've recommended this restaurant. Simply one of the best Worcester has to offer."

"It has been a while since I had been to Bocado and it was nice to revisit. The food is excellent and the restaurant offers a different experience than other restaurants in the neighborhood. Plan on spending quite a while at your meal as it comes out in phases. The small plates offer you the ability to sample many options."

"I took my boyfriend here this weekend to celebrate his college graduation. He went to study abroad in Spain 2 years ago, and ever since coming back to the states he has been looking for a restaurant where we could get an authentic spanish experience. We have gone to a few different places, but nothing has met the mark. Bocado's food was extremely authentic, and an amazing experience. We ordered the Bocado experience for 2 and we practically licked every plate clean. We were able to sample quite a few things from the menu through this dining experince and will definitely be coming back. The service was good, and the food was great! Can't wait until we can come back again!"

"On our first trip to Bocado, we asked the waitress to explain how it all worked. She explained the small portions and encouraged us to order a variety of things and pointed out the 6 - 8 serving package. Since there were 6 of us, we agreed and ordered away. The food started coming and coming and coming and coming... We finally told her to box the last 2 things (the main courses of paella and the steak and potatoes) without even bringing them, and still had to have her box up at least half of the tapas that she had brought us. Maybe the portions were correct for 6 - 8 starving football players, but beware if you are a normal person! That being said, the food was outstanding (with the exception of the haddock fingers), if a bit pricey."

"The food and service were great. There is also a good atmosphere and it felt more intimate because of the separate rooms. The only negative was when we (my husband and I) were sat at a small table against a wall right next to a larger group with a baby even though there were many other open tables. We asked to move and then everything was good."

"This is first rate in every respect. The food is good to excellent. The wine list is a real gem, with very fair pricing for a large range of good to great Spanish wines available in tastes, glasses and flights as well as bottles. "The Food is amazing, but each plate of tapas came out like every 15/20 minutes, so we were starving and basically there for 3 hours. I know tapas are supposed to be staggered but not THAT far part The kitchen was being exremely slow. The food however was amazing and I'd definiately go back."

"We were very well taken care of. We were seated at a great U-shaped table near the kitchen. We chose the "Bocado experience" so we could sample lots of food and there was so much of it! we started with yummy cheeses, meats, breads. And then sampled the stuffed eggplant, pork meatballs, rice balls, chicken croquettes and shrip. We ended up taking our paella to go! The sangria was excellent too!"

"Fantastic cuisine from Iberica and around the world. Staff were friendly, attentive, professional and accommodating. Wine list is great. People rave about the cheeses, and they're good, but the selection is based on things you can find at your supermarket. Cold and hot tapas menu is extensive. The fried goat cheese, a specialty, and the garlic rosemary bread were quite good. The wait service was a little slow, but our server was informative and helpful with the choices, which can be daunting if you're not used to ordering Tapas. I definitely recommend using your server by asking for his suggestions. Our roasted baby potatoes looked and tasted just like "home fries"--large potatoes cubed, tossed in oil and baked. "This was our first visit to Bocado and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a good dining experience. The menu offers a lot of variety from special entrees to individual tapas options. We decided to take advantage of the Bocado dinner experience which includes a choice of meats & cheese, tapas, paella, and dessert. It was a great way to try a little something from each section of the menu without getting too overwhelmed by all the choices.
Our server explained the various dishes and offered suggestions on what to try. He was also helpful in recommending a wine that would compliment our meal. We will definitely return in the future."

"We were very disappointed to have a 20 minute wait for a table on a Thursday night at 7pm after making reservations the day before. There were at least 10 free tables at the back of the restaurant but we weren't seated at any of those. Put a damper on the night."

"The only reason I didn't rate the food as outstanding is because I have never eaten at any other tapas restaurant or travelled in Spain. I was initially taken by friends who have extensively traveled and studied in Spain and they said that Bocado's offerings were the most authentic and delicious that they had found since their return to the states.The menu can be intimidating to a novice but the staff is more than patient with questions and eager to assist putting together a meal that suits your taste. Speaking of tastes..... the sangria is fabulous with many interesting choices. For dessert, a hot,delicately crisp churro with chocolate dipping sauce was the perfect end to our meal. We look forward to returning soon!"

"This was our first time here so we really did not know what to expect. There was seven of us and we were seated immediately upon arrival (sat night). Our waiter was very knowledgable and made recommendations on selection as well as what was appropriate for the size of our group. The food was good and they timed delivery of all the courses nicely. We had a three hour dining experience. That's hard to find these days. At no time did they make us feel rushed even when we asked if they needed the table. The manager stopped by to see how things were going, which i always like. A lot more items on the menu to try so we will be back."

"A fun spot in Worcester...great detail inside, cute bar area and good tapas. The lamb was great as was a lot of the smaller plates. I was confused why the pheasant sausage was ice cold...should have been room temp and the beets were rock hard. They should have been tender..not crunchy. Yellow beets are great but they need to be at least blanced to bring out the flavor. Service was good but our server was just not friendly, but she did a good job. Maybe an off night. Wine list is great...truly great choices. Very impressed by that and would definitely go again to give the food another try. I loved the menu and perhaps it was just a couple choices I had that were suspect. I'll give it another try for sure."

"Overall, another great experience at Bocado. Had reservations and found 2 spots at the back bar. Ordered the chef's cheese special and a range of tapas. Flavored were excellent. Only miss was the special asparagus and beet salad as, while creative, both items were served cold so there was no sweetness or saltiness to balance the 'raw' flavor.
My wife commented that our bartender Nate made the best Pera cocktail she's had to date."
