Serving lunch and dinner daily starting at 11am.
"Friendly ambiance. Live musician that was very good. Had read reviews before going and upon returning, agreed that they were accurate. 1 had the pulled pork, rating it excellent, 2 had chicken stir fry, also excellent, 1 had short ribs, excellent again and the last had pork chop and rated it too fatty and gristly. All all agreed it was a fun and good pick for the birthday we were celebrating. Our waiter was pretty slow, but helpful enough."

"We all live a considerable distance from Kitchen 56, yet this is our 5th visit. Our table was ready as reserved. The welcome and service was excellent from the start- low key but professional and we never wanted for anything. We love the menu- trendy and eclectic but solid with something for everyone in our party of five. Drink service was fast, efficient and accurate with everything prepared exactly to order. We all look forward to next time."

"We had a good dinner and enjoyed the local - the old gas service station in a nice area. We have driven past it may times and finally stopped and enjoyed a relaxing Saturday night dinner."

"The restaurant had a very open and friendly environment. The food was fairly good and so was the service. However, the menu on the website is very outdated compared to what you received at the restaurant. Also, we hung out at our table for about an hour after our bill was paid and no one ever stopped by to see if we wanted anymore water or anything else. The pulled pork sandwich looked especially good. I plan to return at least one more time and try some other items on the menu."

"We needed a meal reasonably near the airport and did not want to do chain restaurants. Kitchen 56 turned out to be just right. The food was good, the service totally suitable. It is not a fancy place, but it was a good meal with good wine and served our needs well."

"I have been there several times now...been happy with every visit. Have found some favorite dishes, but want to go back to find more. I find their dishes are not typical or found elsewhere. Unique and pleasant twists. For me, a nice low key vibe but still hip enough to be interesting. I don't typically order appitzers at restaurants, but I do here...I enjoy their food enough to investigate their creations. BRAVO...a great find! Normally my wife and I go alone for a special indulgence...this time we brought the family and everyone was pleased."

"Would not recommend for dinner. Great place for a late lunch. The Calamari is fantastic! A definate must try, it is prepared different than most places and that is what makes it truly unique."

"Met family from across the Valley here for Sunday lunch. It was convenient and conducive to conversation. Prices were reasonable. The food was adequate but not exciting. I ordered the three cheese and basil omelet, but the cook forgot the basil. My brother enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich, and the side salads were nice. The prosciutto/fig/arugula pannini was disappointing. The bread was more Texas toast than pannini and there was very little inside. We may meet here again when we need a central location."

"I have frequented Kitchen 56 quite often for dinner and happy hour, since it's in my neighborhood. So we decided to take my mom and sister there for Mother's Day. Everything was awesome, as usual. Of course we had to start with the edemame; which is out of this world. Then we eat ordered something different; ranging from the breakfast burrito to the pulled pork sandwich. Everyone really enjoyed the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Thank you Kitchen 56 for coming to Arcadia and turning an eyesore into a beautiful neighborhood hangout."

"This was my 3rd visit to K56. I like the atmosphere and food very much but this was the second time that the service was sub par. This time we sat during a relatively quiet time in the early afternoon for a Mother's Day dinner. We ordered an appetizer of black beam dip and chips and waited...and waited etc. I finally got up and went to the hostess area to check on it. I didn't want our main course to come at the same time or even first! I don't think our waiter even put it in because everyone seemed to be scrambling. It went downhill from there. No water, no attention, like our waiter was punishing us for telling on him.
We will be back and hope to get our first visit waiter. We haven't given up on K56!"

"I decided to take my mom here for bruch and wished I had went to my favorite restaurant near PV instead. The food was pretty decent but, the service was really slow...I had to go get drinks at the bar because we sat and waited forever for our waitress to come check on us. It was disappointing since it was Mother's Day...I doubt I will ever be back."

"The hostess was rude no hello, just showed us to a table, put the menus down and walked away. Ordered drinks and appetizers-onion strings, chips and dip, and edamame. Entrees were lukewarm - 2 pizzas , 2 steak sandwiches (both orders screwed up), heavy on carmelized onions, heavy on horseradish and hardly any steak. Baby Back Ribs were oversauced, overcooked and dried out, corn cake was cold, flabby and dry, and mashed potatoes were lukewarm and chunky (no gravy). Asked for gravy, waiter said they were heating it up and then came back to say there wasn't any gravy. The pulled pork sandwich was the only saving grace. None of us complained or asked for "do-overs". Sad to say, we weren't even offered a dessert menu. We won't be going back."

"Overall ok - not great but ok. The ahi was good. The chicken stir fry was kind of a mess, a lot of chicken and noodles with a few (very few) veggies smothered in sauce and dumped on a plate."

"Our first visit to Kitchen 56 was on a Sunday evening and we were pleasantly surprised to find excellent live entertainment! The server allowed us to relax and take our time with our wine and cheese board before asking us for our order. The food was exceptional - and plentiful! We had spaghetti with meatballs and a calzone - all of it was delicious! Can't wait to go back...in fact, we already have made another Open Table reservation!"

"We liked the ambiance, but the service wasn't great. It took at least 5 minutes before anyone came to the table and throughout the evening we didn't see much of the waiter. We ordered the "drunken" bread as an appetizer and it had a very overwhelming taste - like very burnt bread. I ordered the turkey burger and it was just OK. It seemed like a frozen patty that had been warmed up. I really wanted to like this place because it's in my neighborhood. If I were to go back it would probably be just to hang out on the patio for a drink. I did ask the waiter if they had sangria and he said, "I think we can make that." I had to send it back because the bartender obviously just threw some fruit in red wine."

"We had a great experience as always and walked to the restaurant from Old Town. I like that they give a discount for walking or riding a bike. It was mid afternoon on a Sunday, sat outside, staff is wonderful and explain the food in a mouth watering way. At 2:00 there was a gal who played a guitar and the crowd started coming in for that. The place filled up! Good time....
Plus, NO SMOKING and No PETS...at least when we've been there, no pets. Big turn off."
