Vino124 is a casual, family-owned and operated restaurant in downtown Front Royal with a daily changing menu focused on local ingredients & eclectic comfort food.
This down to earth restaurant features 3 dining areas & a lounge. The main dining room has a casual cafe feel and seats up to 20 people. The side room is a cozy spot with banquette seating and spots for up to 12 people. There are also 2 outdoor patio tables that allow for dining directly on Main Street; great for people watching. The back of Vino124 has a small, but vibrant lounge with sofa & bar seating.
Our kitchen is an open kitchen giving our customers the ability to peek at our chefs as they work to create a menu utilizing produce and meats raised locally, as well as international cheese and charcuterie products and fresh seafood. The eclectic, comfort cuisine served at Vino124 is influenced by the staffs travels and homes in Italy, the Mediterranean, and the US Southwest.
"Everything was wonderful from start to finish. We started with the pizza appetizer. It was flatbread with olive oil and herbs sprinkled on it. Fantastic! For dinner, I had the crab cakes and my husband ordered the meatloaf. Both were delicious. For dessert, my husband got the molten chocolate cake. The entire dinner was amazing! We can wait to come back! On a side note, when we were choosing a wine for dinner, we ordered a Reisling. The owner, Christian, came to us and asked if we were expecting a sweet Reisling, which we responded yes. He told use not to order the one we did and brought us a different Reisling. Explaining the difference between, and letting us taste the first, we are glad he had us change. What service!!!!"

"Fantastic dining experience. Vino 124 is nicely tucked into Main Street in Front Royal and was a pleasure. Food was wonderful, atmosphere quiet, and the service was fantastic. Of particular note was our server Brooke. What a lovely young lady, well versed in all aspects of the offerings of Vino 124, and as friendly a server as we have ever had. While the food was wonderful, she MADE the experience much more satisfying. Great dining experience......"

"My 87-year old Mother joined my husband and I for dinner. She pronounced the crab cakes as "the best I have ever eaten." The lamb was beautifully prepared and the lasagna was unique and very tasty. Our waitress, Brooke, was attentive and friendly. Whether you are stopping by for a lunch after browsing Front Royal's antique shops, or entertaining a visiting guest, you will be graced with a palate-pleasing and hospitable experience."

"We needed more options in Front Royal and your restaurant far exceeds our expectations for Main Street. The food is really great and innovative. The servers are young and friendly - very welcoming. If it's your first time, you absolutely MUST try the pizza. And did you know there's a bar in the back room - nicely painted in vibrant colors and emits the overall friendly neighborhood bar feel. I'll keep coming back each time I visit - thank you for taking great care in your food and patrons!"

"We found this restaurant during a rare visit to the Sheandoah without the kids, though they too would have been welcome earlier in the evening. On the first night we had their salmon appetizer with mascarpone and citrus--delicious--and my boyfriend had the lasagne, some of the best we have tasted of both. We both noticed that the greens and tomatoes in the salad which came with the meal were especially fresh and the dressing was one f the best I have ever had. The recommended wines with the entrees were delicious, from a small but very diverse wine list, and the little wine bar area in the back proved delightfully entertaining and relaxing after dinner. An utter delight!"

"For a small town, this is a fine restaurant for a nice evening out. But so many small, overlooked details stack up to diminish the experience. The wine we ordered was mis-labeled on the wine list. The flatbread was underbaked and unnecessarily buried beneath a forest of dried herbs. The lentil hummus looked, frankly, like cat food drizzled with sriracha. The salad was swimming in a pool of honey mustard dressing when a splash would have been sufficient. The roasted eggplant screamed for a starch, but didn't even come with bread. One of the plates wasn't wiped down before being brought to the table, making for a sloppy presentation. And the tables don't even have salt and pepper on them. The little things make a big difference."

"The food was amazing. The beer and wine selection are great. The staff fun and professional. And the owners are outstanding people. The dining area is perfect for a quiet dinner. There is also a back room that is full of "regulars" and seems to be a great place to hang out, have a drink or two, and socialize with friends. Definitely recommend."
