"This year the scene for my wife's birthday was the Banff Springs Hotel and for dinner it had to be the Banffshire Club. I had flowers delivered to the restaurant which the wait staff had on our table when we arrived. They took exquisite care of us through the whole meal which was excellent. It was a truly memorable occasion !"

"I brought my mother to Banff Springs for a bit of a break and made sure we came here for dinner. What can I say other than WOW!
I the service was outstanding and the food was just amazing! We were treated like we were the the only ones there.

"This is a very expensive restaurant and as such in the "Castle" we would only expect the best.
Initially they arrive with a trolley of champagnes by the glass which are pricey in itself. Bottled water or carbonated water is offered but you have to ask for tap water.
WE were coming as locals and there was meant to be a "Chef's special menu" Well this was simply pick form the menu. Sides were extra. A bit misleading.

The special for locals price was near what it would cost if we had picked from the menu anyway. The food was fussily done and over salted but good.
Wines start at $50 (few) and go up to the $100 mark very quickly. An extensive list for sure though.
