"My husband and I been a fan of Indian food for 20 years. After our favorite restaurant closed, we have had trouble locating one comperable, however, this ranks highly with us. Aso found some new innovative dishes such as califlower appetizer and black pepper chicken. Restaurant is clean and modern plus Collingswood is an awesome place to spend an evening with it's old town charm."

"The waitress was very unfriendly. She Didn't introduce herself. She didn't smile. It seemed as if our questions about the menu were bothering her. She didn't thank us for dining at Indiya. Because of the poor service, we decided that she did not deserve a tip. The bus boy had the nerve to follow us to our car, knock on the passenger window and ask us to leave the waitress a tip."

"We had an excellent experience for our first visit to Indiya. It was Restaurant Week in Collingswood, and Indiya offered a great menu for a great price ($25 for 4 courses). The food was amazing, and you received a lot of it too! Every course was delicious. Sadly, we found out that all of the items that were offered for the special Restaurant Week menu are not offered any other time of the year. We are hoping they change that soon! We will definitely be back!"

"We are a big fan of Indian food as not too many restaurants measure up to our original find which closed several years ago. However, this one is wonderful. Dined with 3 other people and we all shared our meals to get to sample all. We couldn't pick a favorite from the apps to the dinners....all really good! We will definately be back!"

"I like Indian food but not too hot and sometimes have trouble getting it mild enough, but here no problem. The food was excellant. It was important for me to have a vegetarian choices. Again this was not a problem. A good place to go for a special occasion."

"Indiya is a great new addition to the Collingswood restaurant scene - now we finally have a descent Indian restaurant right on Haddon Ave in the heart of downtown! The ambience at our table for 6 was rather dark and it was a bit difficult to read the menu. The food was very delicious and tasted authentic (not too Americanized). I had the chicken lababdar which was great, although the chicken was a bit tough for my liking. Most of our table got the non-vegetarian Thali, which is like a sampler. Everyone loved the flavors and the cool crescent-shaped serving dishes. Service seemed a little slow toward the end when it came time to pay the check. Bottle service was okay, but could be better."

"Start off with the ragda patties on a bed of chick peas and you're off to a great meal. Make sure to order naan to sop up all the wonderful sauces. My entree was the Goan shrimp curry (delightful) and my dinner companion had the vegetarian navrattan korma (9 vegs and nuts) in a creamy, delicate sauce. I do have one problem with dessert. I wanted to try something new and I can never get past the chai ice cream. Maybe two desserts will solve that one. The service was good, setting was pretty and there was no rushing to turn the table. A totally pleasant evening."

"I have never been more satisfied with food in my life. My first visit to Indiya proved to be an exciting flavor journey. I had the Ragda patties to begin and enjoyed each spicy, flavorful bite. As an additional appetizer, I shared the Chicken Murmuri with a friend. We both agreed that the dish was delicious. The flavors and traditional spices in the Chicken Tikka Makhani, my main dish, danced on my taste buds and and pleased my palate satisfactorily. The prices are reasonable and the servers are gracious. The decor is visually appealing, vibrant and eye-catching. The seating arrangement is intimate and cozy. Overall, Indiya offers a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant."
