"We are locals in Palm Springs and my friend and I were looking to try restaurants we normally don't frequent. Since it was Restaurant Week, we've been able to try places that we normally find price prohibitive. Our expectations of Europa were met and exceeded. The food was fantastic and the service attentive but not intrusive. Our cocktails were delivered quickly and were enjoyed while scanning the menu. We shared the appetizer and salad and then both ordered the Short Ribs. Fabulous food. My friend ordered the molten lava cake with gelato while I enjoyed one of the best cheescakes I've ever tasted.
We will go back there. Want to try their brunch."

"Europa is such a secluded and lovely place. The staff were very friendly and nice. The food selection was excellent. I was a little disappointed with my appetizer - too plain - but the entree, scampi, was very good indeed. Apparently the short ribs were wonderful. The dessert choice was nice, but could have at least one healthy choice, fruit for example, to make it even better. Altogether a very pleasant experience."

"I had not been here for close to 10 years and can't figure out why. The romantic ambience was enhanced by a wonderful harpist. The waitress was great and made a wonderful suggestion of a Whitehaven Sav Blanc. The baked Brie was excellent and big enough for 4, even though the menu said for 2. My husband had the 25-day aged rib eye which was flavorful and juicy. The guyere mashed potatoes were just ok. I had the 3-mushroom risotto which was to die for!!! We shared an apple pie-ish a la mode with bacon which was also very good. Apparently bacon is the new black these days. Overall a fabulous evening!"

"This was our second time at Europa, we loved it the first time, just a few days ago, and had excellent service. This time we came with friends who had eaten there before and also like it a lot. However, unlike the first time, the waiter we had this time was terrible. He knew all the right things to say when he did show up at the table, but seemed to forget about us the moment he walked away. Many small things, added together, got us annoyed, which greatly diminished our pleasure of a nice dinner with friends. Our friends told us that they had the same waiter and the same bad experience with him about a month earlier. Do have dinner at Europa; but make sure you don't have Jeremy for your waiter!"
