"First time experience and had heard Vicky's was good for 'special occasions'. We interpreted this to mean table clothes, etc. The atmosphere was fairly casual - laminated menus, no tablecloths and fairly loud. In short, the inside does not quite match the outside look of the restaurant... at least to us. The piano/music had not started when we were there. However, the food was reasonably priced and very good, and we were seated right away. We'll return, but now we know what to expect as far as decor, etc."

"We always enjoy eating at Vicky's the food is great (try the Shrimp!) servings big.. (try the baked potatoes) Desserts large enuf to share.
My wife and I often split a meal.. and when you add in one or two sides.. (try the yummy scalloped potatoes) you waddle out with a smile..
Wines are some of the best..in the valley.. all the staff are A plus..
Always Valet Park..It's free. well give the attendant a tip.."

"Vicky's is a great place for dinner and entertainment. The food is very good. After dinner you have the option to hear good music in the lounge. On Mondays and Tuesdays Pat Rizzo's jazz band is good listening. Doug Montgomery, a piano virtuoso, plays Wednesdays through Saturdays. On Sundays there are special jazz events."

"We had a large party (birthday) of 11, but had to expand for a couple extra, and staff reset the room instantly and with a smile. Everyone from the door to the wait staff treated us with such great care. I'm not sure I've ever actually experienced service this good and executed with such incredible grace (which is big coming from this generally hypercritical diner). Food was great. Wonderful experience overall."

"The wait staff was really on top of our requests. I like the menu, just enough choices and the salmon is terrific, and the sand dabs.
I think it is very noisy for romantic, but it is one of my husband's favorites. The back tables provide a beautiful view of the mountains."

"We had a good meal at Vicky's. We split a full portion of rotisserie chicken with potatoes au gratin and steamed broccoli. We couldn't finish it, and took a meal home. Portons are very generous. The wait staff was very attentive. We even happened to be there on an evening when Vicky was dining in the restaurant at a family birthday and said hello. If you like live music and dancing, there is a bar and lounge side to the venue to enjoy."

"Vicky's was recommended to us. We made it a special evening out and were a bit dissapointed. The entry goes right into a very noisy bar. It was extremely busy the night we were there. We had reservations and we were taken to a table in the way of everyone. We were constantly being bumped. Our waitress told us about the two specials for the evening. The waiter for the table next to us gave them many more specials to choose from. At that point we decided we would just eat what we ordered and not come back. I don't like to feel that way. The waitress was stressed, the place was very noisy, but the food was excellent. As we walked out , we peeked in the room with the live music. That looked very nice."

"Our first time here--recommended by family. Portions are huge so share! Food was top notch quality. We enjoyed every bite. Our waitress was perfect--there when we needed her and discreet when we didn't. The only thing that would make this a 5 is if it wasn't so dark. We will be back so they can earn that 5th start, I know most steak places are dark but it was so beautifully landscaped outside I would've liked to have a view of that!"

"Great place if you don't want to spend a fortune. Everything is a la carte and a very simple yet outstanding menu. Great place for a steak and baked potato or creamed spinach! If you prefer fish they have a wonderful whitefish, sandabs or shrimp done to perfection. Great food on the happy hour menu and the staff is the best in the valley! They've been around for over 20 years and I know why. You will not be dissappointed, reserve early for a great table."

"The food was very good although the menu was rather small. My husband and I split a few appetizers and the white fish, which was outstanding. Although the dinning room was full, the ambiance was just average. Then after dinner was when the fun started. Before leaving we headed down to the piano bar. The room was very large and vibrant. People were overflowing at the entrance to hear Doug Montgomery play. When he took a break, several bar tables opened up and we took one and ended up closing out the night there. Very fun and interactive crowd. Many locals. Excellent talent."

"Consistently good food. Simple ingredients, prepared simply, but extremely well-prepared and well-seasoned. Brought a new couple with us who "hadn't been in years" and had forgotten how good it was. We'll be back soon! Don't miss the twice baked potato!"

"Vickie's is a great place to go. We have been a few times and the food was delicious, however this time my husband's steak was completely over cooked and dry. Not too sure what happened in the kitchen this visit."

"First time to Vicky's with out of town guests and we all thought it was great. Great food, generous portions, attractive surroundings and welcoming ambiance with exceptional service! Two in our party had one of the house favorites that was also their favorite: "Liver & Onions" and thought it was superb. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, they were out of broccoli but many might consider that a good thing! The BLT Wedge Salad is a meal in itself! And don't pass up the Capuccino Ice Cream!! We'll most certainly be back!"

"Most of the staff from host to servers were not nice and seemed put out. Steak was not served on a hot plate and was cold, creamed spinach was bland. Baked potato was good and hot."
