The Tuscan Tavern is a family owned and operated restaurant in South Jersey that brings the gourmet Italian dishes straight from Italy.

"Once again we returned for an enjoyable evening out with friends, had a great dinner, the owners visited and were very warm and concerned about all elements of our dinner, the young lady (yes, no Frank Sinatra tonight) did a good job singing some old favorites, and overall we had a very nice and relaxing evening. I encourage everyone to check it out!"

"When I heard that the Tuscan Tavern was reopened, I was excited to try it. Unfortunately I was totally disappointed. The soups were salty. The Chicken Piccata had no lemon flavor whatsoever. When I brought this to the attention of the waiter, he came back with lemons for me to squeeze over the chicken!! Two other guests in my party also ordered other chicken dishes and we all found that part of our cutlet still had the skin on it. Again it was brought to the attention of the server and nothing was done. Not once did a manager come by to see if we were satisfied. Overall the food is flavorless, the service is careless, and it appears that ownership doesn't care. I'll be surprised if it stays in business."

"Food wasn't bad, but there are so many better Italian restaurants in the area. Didn't know it was a BYOB. They also had a singer doing cheap Frank Sinatra imitation to Kareoke style music, which was annoying and distracted from the meal."

"We had been to the old Tuscan Tavern & thought that was good. That closed & was reopened as Salvatores. We were not very impressed with this change. Salvatores didn't seem to last very long however & now it's under new ownership & has opened as Randazzo's Tuscan Tavern. Now we're talking! I would highly recommend this BYOB restaurant. Great food, good ambiance & they had some live entertainment...a very good singer doing the old classics like Sinatra, etc. Our waitress seemed a little inexperienced but she was very nice & we didn't mind. I had a delicious Lasagne & the Wife had a nice Veal Saltimbocca. This will be one our regular stops!"

"Went there last weekend following Valentine's Day. The food was excellent,from appetizer to dessert. The waiter Dave was professional yet friendly and so accomodating. The new management certainly knows how to please customers.The singer was a nice touch to the ambiance. The decor is very Tuscan which enhances the Italian experience. We will definitely be going back and bringing friends with us. Another plus, it's a BYOB."

"I would NOT recommend eating at this restaurant due to the poor service and food quality. Once seated, it took someone 15 minutes to come to our table and acknowledge us. That was after I had to asked the hostess to send someone over. It took over an hour for our food to finally come out. Our food was cold and the quality can be compared to a frozen dinner not fully heated through. For a restaurant that is under new management, they seem to not be concerned of the first impression they make on patrons."

"We were so pleased to see this restaurant reopen with a new owner. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service efficient and pleasant. On this particular night, they had a young man singing and he was terrific. He sang Frank Sinatra to Michael Buble and he sounded so very close to their sound.
We are so happy that we have a such a classy restaurant so close to our home that we can enjoy often."
