"We have been to Crudo at least 3 times in the past month. It's an intimate restaurant and the food is fresh and beautifully prepared. My husband always has the tortellini and can't bear to pass it up for another dish. I've tried the delicious papparadelli with lamb ragu and a beautiful grilled shrimp with asparagus, tomatoes and capellini. We love the carpaccio and have also tried the crab cake which was heavy on crab and light on filler and bathed in an amazing sauce. Jason has waited on us the past 2 times and is attentive and informative. We highly recommend Crudo but don't go on the weekends without a reservation."

"Crudo is small and crowded but we didn't mind. The noise and closeness of the tables gave it a busy,neighborhood vibe. We have been there twice and really enjoyed everything we tried. Particularly recommend the calamari appetizer - very good and fresh."

"This has become our 'go to' restaurant. No matter what night we come here, the food is consistently excellent and the service is impeccable. The specials are always well prepared and very unique -- particularly the steaks and the shellfish. The chef does a wonderful job choosing high quality ingredients and finishing the dish with wonderful sauces. It's always a culinary delight.
From a service perspective, we never have to wait for a table (we do make a reservation). We usually have Jason as our waiter -- his service is outstanding.
We'll be back."

"Loved the place as first time visitor. I had the salmon and my wife had the steak. Both were excellent. Only issue was the small tables. Seems that the small layout was meant for a bar instead of a restaurant. But we got used to it. I think it is a hit for Frisco. We will definitely be back."

"My second time here was as amazing as the first. I had a ribeye special that was available that night. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The garlic a mashed potatoes and grilled veggies were perfectly paired. The service level at this restaurant is impeccable. I love the service. Keep it up!"

"This has become our favorite date night neighborhood restaurant. The food is always outstanding! This Friday we enjoyed their seafood offerings. The crab cakes were loaded with crabmeat and were scrumptious! The shrimp pasta with asparagus was expertly seasoned! We finished with the lemon cello cake which was divine! Perhaps the reason we find ourselves continually going back is because the food is so good and very reminiscent of the food we became used to in Italy. Once again, Bravo Crudo!"

"This is our 4th visit to Crudo and we will say it's our favorite restaurant in Frisco! The owner is always there walking around and greeting his guests, and the service is fantastic! We usually start our meal by ordering a bottle of ILKA Cab from South Africa ( awesome wine list btw) and an appetizer. This time we got the crab cakes and they were incredible. For our main course, we got the special (seafood pasta) and a flat bread pizza ( chicken, mushrooms, and spinach). Both were very good, we highly recommend the seafood pasta! For dessert my wife got the chocolate lava cake and I got my staple... Tiramisou. I will say that the tiramisou at Crudo is one of my favorites and I get this dessert everywhere we go for dinner. We love Crudo!"

"Lately we have been going to Crudo every week. We have been there for lunch and several times for dinner on the weekend. The food is wonderful! My husband loves their pizza! It is very similar to the pizza we enjoy when we travel to Italy. I have had their scallops and every salad on their menu --- all very delicious!
As good as the food is, the Management of this establishment is even better! We had a dish that didn't taste outstanding as most of their food does. Upon informing them of this, the Manager provided an honest assessment of the dish (it was undercooked) and offered us another entree and a free dessert to make it right. It was this candid critique and service that has made us loyal customers. Well done Crudo!!"

"Previous reviews intrigued me. The food surpassed my expectations. Staff was top notch - far above my expectations for a small, local restaurant. Wait and service staff were more akin to a top shelf steakhouse...very impressive.
My only slight disappointment was that the bar had two big flat screens that overtook the room. It was such a cozy environment, and the bar was the full length of the restaurant. Just wishing that the TVs weren't so dominant atop the bar...they diminish the atmosphere.
Would highly recommend and definitely hope to return soon."

"My friend and I had chanced going to Crudo fir lunch. We were extremely satisfied with the food. I started out with the tomato soup which was outstanding and then proceeded to have the special which was parmesan crusted sole. Oh my, what a treat. my friend had the parmesan crusted chicken and loved it. Apparently the lemon cake was the best she had ever eaten. She returned the next day with 3 other friends who all loved it. Our waitress was enthusiastic and efficient. Now I can't wait to return this week It will be a regular for me."

"I really enjoyed the food and the staff. We were a group of 7 and everyone commented on how delicious the food was. The only thing is that we were seated right at the entrance of the restaurant. Since it was cold outside we had to use our jackets as blankets to keep the cold at bay. The food was excellent, but would have enjoyed it much better if we weren't shocked with cold everytime someone came in. Not the best location to sit. The place is intimate and I was surpised that neither a manager or owner came by to check if all was okay and say hello. I've been to several restaurants in the area and that seems to be the standard. It is just a nice little detail. We plan to make a return visit."

"This was our first time at Crudo. We were surprised by house small the place was when we walked it, long and narrow. There is not a lot of room between the bar stools and the seating. We were sat in the middle of the room and when it got crowded, we had people standing so close we touched.
The food was good and the service was very good. Our meals took a while to come out and they gave us soup on the house while we were waiting. We didn't even really notice as we were enjoying our wine and the appetizer we ordered. The wine list was small but enjoyed a nice bottle. I would recommend making reservations as this small spot fills up quick.
We will give it another try but probably sit at the bar."

"Came here for Valentine's and got the four-course special menu. The boyfriend and I made sure to get different options from each other so we could taste as much as possible! Everything we had was -excellent-, except for my Caesar salad -- too little dressing and disappointingly bland, pale lettuce. We just split his ohmygodamazing lobster bisque to make up for it.
Overall? Cozy, romantic, beautiful, and GREAT food."

"Heard great reviews about the place. Made a reservation through open table for valentines day. There was a set menu with no food me and my wife could eat. We are vegetarian, and the waiter specifically told us there will be "no changes" to anything on the menu. Unfortunately we had no reason but to leave. I will not be coming back here because of the way we were treated."

"I went to Crudo's thinking it was actually the place across the street. It is a new building and looks great inside. The staff is top notch on service. All of the food is made from scratch in-house. Everything my wife and I had was absolutely incredible. We had a crab cake appetizer that was cooked perfectly and was all crab with a perfectly flavored sauce. The salad was great tasting and good sized with polenta croutons. Trust me you have to try these.. My wife got a cup of the French onion soup. This was real French onion soup with Parmesan covered French bread in it. We had the fillet and the pork tenderloin for our entrees, and they were spectacular. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful our meal was."
