"I loved this place when it was the Waterview. We went for Mother's Day and I was a bit disappointed in the buffet selection. For $39pp not only was the food offering relatively small, the food itself was nothing special. There were no signature items that made it stand out. The salads were basically just lettuce and dressing which they were slow to refill. Being on the water the views and setting are very nice and makes for a great dining experience. I am hoping that if we go back the food will redeem itself."

"Everything we had, including the "freebies" like breads and spreads were excellent.
We had appetizers, crab cocktail and prociutto wrapped shrimp, entrees, surf and turf and
Grilled sword fish (even the side dishes were memorable). After dinner we had cappuccinos
and a complimentary dessert wine imported from Italy. The entire dining experience was
wonderful. Can't wait to go again!"

"Went for lunch with four friends, arrived when the restaurant was fairly empty, and it still took 20 minutes til we finally got menus and 50 minutes till our food came to the table, not a speedy lunch. We all ordered salads, the Cobb salads were a very nice size and very good. The Waldorf salad was minuscule by comparison. Upon complaint to the waiter he offered to bring more lettuce, which arrived 15 minutes later, and the dressing had a distinctly different taste. I would hesitate to go back, even though the ambience is wonderful, being located on Manhasset Bay. It's a shame they can't get their act together. We felt bad for the young waiter, he seemed to try but definitely needed assistance."
