"First time at MOMO and really liked the food. It is fairly simple and very tasty! Flavorful and well presented! The food is definitely the best thing about MOMO. Service could use a bit of work but it's such a tiny place that it actually feels like you are being served in someone's dining room. I loved it and will definitely be back!!!"

"Its been a long time since I've sat down to a simple, delicious, and well serviced Italian meal in the west village. this place was kind of old school in that way.

my girlfriend and i shared the arugula salad. which, honestly, might have been the best i've had. in a city awash with arugula salads, this one was just plain tasty. long, thin cuts of parmesan, fresh greens and tasty dressing. yum

i'd heard really good things about their spaghetti meatballs and i was not disappointed. without sounding corny, this dish reminded me of my nan's. gf had their salmon special. looked tasty but i didn't try it. was too focused on the meatyballs. this place seriously rules, i wish them best of luck. they are also super nice"

"Very good service and help with choosing a wine that was not too expensive and complimented our meal. The room is very cozy and the menu selections are wide. A very nice addition to the neighborhood that hopefully will stay and not be besieged by destination diners or lost due to increasing rents that drive up prices."

"My sister and I had an excellent dinner at MoMo - the food was delicious. I highly recommend the Pollo Scarpariello and the Mediterranean Crostini. My sister had the linguine with clams and loved it. Really nice atmosphere, from the lighting to the music, which remained at a nice, quiet level so we could easily carry on conversation. We are big wine drinkers and enjoyed the selection. Service was great, attentive without being pushy. Already planning a return visit."

"Can't say enough about this cozy candlelit restaurant on the corner of one of my favorite blocks in the West Village. My wife and I enjoyed the food, reasonably priced wine and warm ambiance. Nino, our server's recommendations were absolutely mouthwatering.
Oh and you must have the homemade tiramisu for dessert! We will definitely be back!"

"Although MOMO West Village is Italian, it felt like having dinner in a charming bistro on the Left Bank of Paris. It's small, quaint, romantic - and although I was having dinner with a business acquaintance it was still perfect for a lovely, relaxed evening away from the glitz of the big midtown restaurants. It was also quiet enough that we could talk. The service was terrific and the steak with truffle oil was delicious."

"What a delight to come upon this gem of a neighborhood establishment. Nestled in the heart of the West Village, Momo probably seats barely 20 (if that many). The cozy vibe, plus superb wine list, down to earth prices and welcoming menu (plus the excellent people-watching windows) make this place a must-return. I hope Momo is here for a long time. I'm hooked!"

"The food here was outstanding! We were a little worried when the bread arrived as it wasn't exceptional. Thankfully the food far surpassed expectations and we booked another reservation before leaving the restaurant. The seating doesn't encourage a leisurely night but it was adequate for a neighborhood meal. Reasonable prices."

"We had a wonderful time tonight at this charming and cozy Italian restaurant on a beautiful block in the West Village. For starters I had an excellent spicy sausage on wilted broccoli rabe. Others with me has crisp salads. My entree, a special Osso Buco on creamy risotto was really delicious. I had a bite of the pasta with mushrooms and that too was unusually good. The pasta with clams looked very good too although I did not taste it. For dessert my panna cotta was sweet, but not too sweet, and creamy - perfect. The wine list was filled with fairly priced good bottles. We had a fine Pinot Noir that was hardly marked up from retail. All in all this is a special little restaurant with unusually good and personal service and fine food."
