"I came to BISTRO for the special occasion of a Valentine's Day romantic dinner with my sweetheart, only to discover that it is a Marriott hotel dining experience. While the maitre'd (also the only waiter in evidence) offered excellent service, the trappings are not romantic: the table where we sat, while separate enough to allow for quiet, was austerely lit to daylight brightness. There are TVs inset into the booth with closed captioning, but for a romantic situation where one wishes to focus on one's partner, this served as a distraction rather than heightening the experience. The general menu was also limited enough that my girlfriend almost did not locate a single item that she wished to eat."
