Here is the background on the makeup of our Restaurant.The Bistro was born in September of 2002.Owned and operated by Declan & Maria Hoctor, Executive Chef: Paul Hughes, and John & Angela O’Sullivan of Roly’s Bistro of Dublin (Ireland). Our Fare is American with a European flair. Executive Chef, Paul Hughes trained in the Savoy Hotel in London for 9 years as well as Roly’s Bistro in Dublin, two of the most respected hostelries in Europe. Roly’s in Dublin was just voted Restaurant of the year for 2010, also voted Chef of the year. Our team of Chef’s has won numerous competitions, and awards representing restaurant & country for their creative and inventive food. We love what we do! Just remember!

"My mom, cousin, and I were staying at the Jupiter Beach Resort and wanted to go "off the reservation" for dinner one night. We came upon the Bistro at the hotel's kiosk and decided it looked good. It was better than good. Mom and I had the Salmon and my cousin had veal. All were delicious, the Salmon so silky and moist and the veal was wonderful. We would definitely seek it out again. If you sit outside there's a lovely pond and although you're in a strip mall, it doesn't feel like it."

"The Bistro is a wonderful place to dine with good friends or enjoy the local pub feeling. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating, the food is consistent and very good. We always enjoy the neighborhood feel of this restaurant! We had a wonderful 3 course Mother's Day lunch!!"

"It was my husband's birthday so I chose the Bistro for a nice dinner. While my husband's fish was cooked perfectly and his salad was rather nice, served in a edible bowl which he enjoyed. The rolls were cold and the dipping oil was barely there, a bit more hummas and a decent pat of butter. My ceasar salad consisted of the spine portion of the romaine and 3 croutons. To say the steak was small, would be an understatement. I asked for the asparagus and got creamed corn ( on request the asparagus was brought) Dessert we chose creme brulee which was served cold ( from the fridge) I asked for coffee and got expresso. All considered I would not recommend the Bistro ( to the tune of $104.00) ( with tax, tip, i drink each)Lot's better places."

"our first impression was not good...the host did not make us feel welcome. it took a while to get service but when we did she was very obliging. we ordered fish and chips because that is one of our favourite dishes and we heard that it was good here. one of my pieces of fish was tough to cut and i couldn't chew it, nor could my husband. the waitress brought me another piece which was much better. also the chips were below standard...skinny and salty, not like traditional fish and chips. we won't be back again. we can get better fish and chips elsewhere."

"Previous visits were great, with amazing food and service. This time out server was less-than-friendly, and the food was not as good as in the past. We actually had to grab another server to get drinks and dessert since our server couldn't be bothered. If I go back, I will definitely make sure I choose a different server."

"I would truly like a refund or credit as the meal and the experience were totally AWFUL. My husband, 2 adult sons and I arrived on time for a 7 30pm reservation, and despite empty tables, were greeted by a pleasant hostess who tried to push us to the bar. We said we preferred to be seated, but she said "We have been so busy...it would be "smarter" for you to go to the bar. My husband asked for the manager, an elderly gentleman who came to him and siad- "Have a seat at the bar- we did hundreds of dinners already". We acquiesced and went to the bar- but made it clear we preferred to be seated ASAP. Felt we were then ignored- we did order a round of drinks- which seemed to be the motive for them to delay us.. Annette waitress was great-food"

"We go to this restaurant quite often and it is always very good.. We happened to be there this time early since we had tickets for a show and took advantage of the "early dinning" which includes 20% everything including the wine, as long as it is ordered before 6:15, when we ordered a "second" bottle of wine and when we got the bill we noticed that they did not take 20% the second bottle since it was ordered after 6:15 pm very petty, especially when we were a table of four and our bill was way over $200.00. Management review this policy. Please......"

"We had a wonderful dinner, my sesame encrusted tuna was excellent and my husband's pork was terrific, as well as his twice baked potato. We each had a mini dessert which was a perfect size for us, I had the brownie and he had the raspberry cheesecake. The coffee was delicious, strong and savory, the way we like it.
The ambiance was terrific, we sat outside next to the pond with a fountain, very relaxing on a lovely night."

"Make sure you make a reservation, especially when the Honda Classic is in town. We had a reservation (obviously) and we still had to wait for a table. Those who didn't make reservations were told it was about an hour and a half wait. There is a lovely outdoor seating area, but on a chilly night it doesn't help the restaurant much. The food was absolutely amazing - one of the best meals I've ever had. I would definitely recommend the Sesame Seared Tuna, Snapper, and Grand Marnier Souffle! So very very delicious!"

"From the Tomato Crab soup that arrived hot(a rare event in most restaurants)through the Dover Sole and Filet of Sole main courses to the Grand Marnier Souffle, each course was expertly prepared and delicious. Wine was a generous pour and coffee was excellent. The service was appropriately attentive, yet not intrusive; very professional. I should also mention that this occurred during a very busy Valentine's evening. We will definitely be returning."

"Food and service were first rate. In upscale strip mall along rte 1, but no view. Inside and outside dining. Well worth the trip. Meals were excellent. Beef Wellington was really good and not available too many places."

"Went here for my birthday. This is one of our favorite "special occasion" places and Bistro did not disappoint. I had Surf & Turf and my wife had the Pork Chop. Both were excellent. This is a busy place during Season - lots of "snowbirds" - so be sure to reserve ahead of time. My only possible complaint was that the desserts seemed a bit pricey for this kind of restaurant. $10.95 or $11.95 for a piece of pie is a bit much."
