"We selected Bentleys for a family dinner after a day of skiing because it seemed to be somewhere between basic pub food and the upscale options at Stratton (e.g. Verde). However, the menus we received at the restaurant were missing half the items on the website. So we were in effect stuck with basic pub food. The first four types of beers we ordered (all listed on the menu) were unavailble. The waitress wasn't at all apologetic about this. She seemed annoyed that we ordered something at all. It took a half hour to get a few beers and chocolate milks for the kids. The highlight of the meal was the woman who refilled our water - she was attentive and friendly."

"Bentley's was extremley croweded with a mix of adults and children, VERY LOUD. Waitress kept saying sorry for the slower than normal service due to being very busy. The Ambiance is blah, just a big open room with very dated exposed framing. No character, No table cloths, exposed wait station. They seemed to be short of help becuse the staff was nearly running to attend to duties but could never get ahead of client needs. The food was just o.k. the cost was on the upper end. Many tables in the room creating tight conditions.
This is NOT the place I would take a guest to impress, or even a special occasion night out. It serves the hotel guests and families (young children) but lacks a childrens menu."

"Upon arrival a bit early thinking we would have a drink by the bar before dinner, the hostess said "come back at your reservation time, I can't seat you prior". So we went to the bar. We sat and sat and sat. Checked in a few times with hostess only to be told after an hour and 30 min. that could seat my family of 5 at a table for 4 and it will be a little tight.
Very poor job of coordinating people to open tables on top of that, if you wanted to speak to someone in charge there was not any.
On the upside, the food was extremely good."

"Service is what brought this down for us. The food was good, for a Ski resort restaurant, but ther service was horrible. Too many waiters standing and talking to each other, instead of focusing on their job. It made me wonder where the heck management was, as clearly it wasn't managing, not to mention it was only half full when we were there."

"food is generally good. nice menu choices for all family members. service is prompt. atmosphere is ok but can get noisy. its a large room with many tables spread out across the floor. there is a small bar and bar area with leather couches and large screen tv.
it has improved substantially from years ago. it appeals to ski families who don't want to spend lots of money on dinner. it seems to struggle with being a sports bar and elegant family restaurant at the same time. I would suggest that they use linen table cloths for the evening to present a more classy affair. Also suggest room dividers to create a more intimate setting. its just a giant room with a sea of tables and that is not appealing."

"We were disappointed in the food at Bentleys the evening we ate there, especially for the prices charged. The bread served was stale. I ordered a burger - medium and it was very red on the inside and burnt on the outside, the roll tasted and felt stale. The steak my husband ordered was par. My daughter had the mac and cheese which was good."

"I had the half chicken with wine sauce. The chicken was overcooked and dry and there was not enough wine sauce to compensate for the dryness. The mashed potatoes were brown indicating they were sitting for a while. The asparagus was very good.
My husband had the Meatballs with pasta. He was happy with his food. Prices are very high for the food being served. It was a good thing that we had vouchers towards our meal. We did the ski and stay package. We would not have eaten there if it was not part of the package. The ski and stay package is a great deal compared to other resorts in the area."

"Bentley's is a solid place to dine. If you are expecting a NYC style gourmet experience, you will be disappointed. That being said, there was something on the menu for everyone to eat. The food was good -- we had no particular complaints. We have eaten at many restaurants in the area over the years, and have encountered really horrible stuff. In comparison to its local competitors, Bentley's is a solid option. I gave the service a "fair" rating, only because everything (the appetizers and the entrees) came out almost all at once. The staff was certainly friendly and helpful and the room is pleasantly decorated."

"My friend and I went there for an early dinner with our four kids. The menu ranged from burgers, pizza and salads to chicken, fish and beef entrees. I had the prime rib special and it was cooked perfectly. My friend had the chicken from the menu and it was also cooked perfectly, crispy skin on the outside and juicy on the inside. The prices were reasonable and the service was good. We will be going back."

"We went for dinner with a large group with small children. The food took awhile to come out. This was difficult with the kids. When the food did arrive, it was mediocre to poor. The pork loin was dry and tough, cheeseburger was overcooked as well as the steak tips. Would not return."
