"Excellent pizza choices. Something for everyone to enjoy and not feel guilty about because they use all natural and organic ingredients. We need more restaurants like this!"

"Our first experience with American Flatbread was during a visit to Burlington, Vermont. I was pleased to learn a NY branch had opened. The pizzas on offer are diverse with interesting combinations. The salads are also top notch. Evrything is very fresh. Although I don't get the extensive (and often expensive) wine list—maybe the high roller Tribeca denizens don't find it pricey—the beer list is just as extensive and reasonably priced. This would be a great place for a large group. I live in Park Slope and Ithink this place blows the precious Franny's away on price. I'd rather make the trip to Tribeca."

"An intriguing blend of specialty pizzas, which is a welcome respite from the dime-a-dozen NYC pizza shops. Focus is on balanced flavor profiles, sourced from local and responsible growers. A fairly decent craft beer list which, also focuses on the smaller, local breweries (I would have liked to have seen more Vermont beers on the list, given the restaurant's roots). All in all a quite enjoyable place."

"Interesting menu, but definitely not your typical red sauce pizza joint. Large space, seemed to accommodate a lot of big parties. Glad I tried it, but it wasn't good enough to go back."

"Had a nice easy dinner. Wait staff was attentive but not constantly at the table. If you are in a hurry you should let tm know, but we liked that we weren't rushed through dinner."

"We had the Medicine Wheel pizza, which is a basic pizza with homemade tomato sauce, mozzarella and other cheeses. We added heirloom cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. It was delicious! The pizza is baked in a wood-fired oven. Several beers on draft are available. We checked in on foursquare and there was even an offer for Vermont beer. Service was friendly, helpful, and attentive. We would definitely go back."

"I had a 10-person birthday gathering for my husband and the staff was SENSATIONAL. Our guests had never been to a Flatbread before and they were all impressed. We split 5 flatbreads between the group and the favorite was the Pear Bread. I recommend for both a dinner for two, or a large group. Great job! It really was a pleasure."

"This is a great spot for a casual but delicious meal before going to an event at the Tribeca Y across the street. The service was very friendly and the flatbread was yummy and plentiful. Definitely a good alternative to the very pricey restaurants nearby."

"The food is amazing. Just as good as the flagship store in Vermont. Better than pizza in little Italy, or anywhere some might say. On top of it, it's all organic, farm to table and GMO-free! There is no better place for pizza, period."

"I love this place...most particularly the food. The flatbread itself is a great thin crust but the toppings are what make the difference here between this and any other purveyors of thin crust pizza. And there's a Winter Salad with pecans and a citrus dressing that's out of this world--I'm sorry to see Winter end for only one reason: this salad likely goes off the menu soon. So hurry!"

"Great pizza! Lots of different combos available. Friendly service and quality food. Had the vegan pizza (added kalamata olives and onion) and loved it!"

"I don't think they've made the move from VT to Tribeca very successfully, which makes me very sad.
Server was clueless and pretty disinterested in answering questions or making recommendations. Overall service was clumsy and disjointed and super amateur. Although fairly empty and with a reservation, we were still made to wait a strange amount of time."

"I am a long time patron of Flatbread in Warren Vermont. Spending most Saturday nights there after a day of skiing at Sugrabush. That being said... the food was as expected... wonderful..."

"We enjoyed the food very much and our waiter was very helpful. Unfortunately, we were told by a manager that we had to pay $45 to eat cupcakes at our table- not for any kind of cake-cutting service, just literally to eat our cupcakes. That was a bit disappointing."

"It is a fun way to put a twist on a pizza night and taste topppings you wouldn't normally find on a pizza/flatbread. We used to live in Burlington, Vermont, and frequented the Burlington Hearth quite often. The Tribeca Heart has a more NYC feel, but was equally as great and enjoyable. It is dark and cozy, and perfect for a cold winter's night. (Although, I enjoy flatbread so much I would visit every season of the year, not just winter.) The evolution salad is also one of my favorite salads on earth. It is a dinner that is sure to please any pallet and a fun dining experience. Make sure you go half and half on your flatbread, too. It is a great way to try more of their innovative flavors."

"We came early on Sunday with kids: the restaurant is well set up for kids (and other diners who understandably want nothing to do with them) because it's large so you can keep family parties in one section. The food was great, service very efficient and pleasant."

"Took a client for lunch. She loved it. We split two individual pies, had a great time. Food is fantastic. Love the interior and the service. I also was here witha party of 8 a few weeks ago. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Enjoy!"

"Food was great, service was terrible again. This is my second time at Tribeca Hearth. Our table was neglected by our server for 20 minutes, which felt like an hour. We had to ask the bartender to get our check for us since we could not find our waiter. Our water was never refilled and we were never asked if we wanted another round of drinks. They really need to fix their service."

"After eating at Flatbread in Vermont several times, I had high hopes for Flatbread in Tribeca, but nothing compares to Flatbread in VT. The restaurant itself is a great, contemporary space, but the pizza was disappointing. It was soggy, falling apart, and not as fresh as I was hoping for. The cheese resembled more of a dominos feel...very unlike Flatbread in VT. Maybe after a few months, things will come together, but not sure I will make a trip back there to see."
