"We always make it a point to stop here when ever we are in Vegas, however "something has changed" - they changed the Beef Strogenouff, not anywhere near as good now as it was (we order it every time we visit). Almost appears they have new owners and a new chef. I also dont recall the loud eclectic music playing either. Not sure if we will be back or not."

"Had the $65 lobster, which was excellent. Partner had the salmon, which was awful and way overcooked. Service is terrible even though the place was empty. Go for the ambiance"

"Too noisy to be romantic. Food is very good on first visit service was excellent but restaurant was less busy. This visit service was not as good as it could be however the restaurant was very busy. I'll visit again next trip to Vegas."

"This the second time we went there we just thought the first was a mistake. We also had a long wait time for food. That was not the case it was over an hour to get our food. This is horrible we won't be back."

"Went back because we had a great time a couple of years ago. The place is under new ownership since then. They still have caviar and some vodkas. Very limited champagne and wine by the glass. Very limited wine list overall. Menu has changed to a more "American" style--who needs another one of those? There are much better in Vegas."

"The new owners have amped up the music, hired greeters to woo the patrons of the night club next door, and changed the menu a bit. The food was still good, but the menu is less "Russian". I really disliked being handed an I-pad for a cocktail/wine list. Aside from the unnecessary high tech gimmick, many would be taken back when they order a martini using this gizmo which did not show prices and find out it cost $18.00!!!"

"From the potato-chip coated Chicken Kiev to the partially-deconstructed Beef Stroganoff, the dinner menu playfully interprets the classics. Outstanding sampling of appetizers as well, like the "lollipop" cut chicken-wings. We didn't try the caviar menu, but it is a real luxury--next time! The look and feel of the place is magnificent. Service was excellent and we never felt rushed."

"This used to be a wonderful restaurant. Authentic eastern European food, borscht....not any soups, but now it is American fast food. Will not go back. The stroganoff noodles were over done with pot roast for the meat."

"I had a great evening there. The food and drink were outstanding. The spot needs a little speediness with service, we waited 25 minutes to get our check after competing the meal. We had to ask twice for it. Stopped in for a drink prior to dinner. Bar staff was attentive but didn't seem like they wanted to be there. A warm smile and a welcome could go a long way. Our dinner was outstanding."

"Everything was good! The reservation was there (always a plus), table location good, waiter and hostess friendly and helpful. The food was like before, great! It's a nice thing when you come back to a restaurant and the food is as good as it was before! I'll be back, heard that before..."

"Bartender took awhile to acknowledge us, & although it was only 530PM, she did not bring over the Happy Hour menu (valid till 6PM). Once Mark/manager came over, things got on track & she was on top of things. Ordered some bar bites (most are $9-$10, do order enough as they are smallish portions) meatballs- tasty & moist, salmon pizza, about 6" round, but flavourful, 2 salmon mousse in small cones topped w/caviar, could have eaten 6 of those, but those duckfat fries, seriously decadent. Used to order & love their pineapple Martini for $5 during Happy Hour, but bartender said they no longer make, too bad, it was my fav. Mgr took us into 5 degrees Vodka Vault, donned our fur hats/coats,raised a glass "Za zdorovje". Thanks, we'll be back"

"We were first here a few years ago and I was very pleased to see Red Square was still here.
Love everything about it, including the ice bar. However what we come for is obviously the food. The entire wait staff is amazing - friendly, helpful, very very nice people. Caviar was fun too. :) We hope to come back again next year."

"I was expecting more upscale food. What we had was good, just a limited selection and not fine dining in my opinion. As a bar, the wine and especially the vodka selections were very good."

"Based on past experience, we walked a mile from our hotel to have dinner at Red Square; it was not worth the effort. My favorite appetizer - steak tartare - is not any longer on the menu, and the tuna tartare was a very poor replacement. My wife's favorite entree had also disappeared from the menu. The beef stroganoff was very disappointing, and should not even be labeled as such on the menu. The braised short ribs presented as beef stroganoff were very tasty, but were not prepared as stroganof. There was little to no sour cream, the beef was totally separate from the noodles and the noodles were very dry, as if they had been sitting on the plate for a long time waiting for the beef. We will not be returning to Red Square."

"I've been wanting to try this restaurant since I first walked past it years ago. The service was over-the-top. We arrived early for our reservation but were seated immediately, and our waitress and various others stopped by periodically to see if we were enjoying ourselves. The food was very good with a nice mix of textures and flavors. The alcohol was a bit expensive, but typical for Vegas. The decor was fantastic, but the ambience could have been better. We were seated near the bar and LOUD dance pop played during our entire visit. This would be cooler place to stop for a drink than to sit down for a meal. Despite the cool, dark red decor, romantic this place was not."

"This was once one of my favorite places to eat in vegas. However this was the first time I had been there since new management tookover 3 months ago. Many changes occured that totally destroyed the atmosphere and the food was now marginal to say the least. I was hugely disappointed. Before this place had a great dark atmosphere, just like when I visited russia. Food was great, vodkas were in abundance. But the 180 degree change, has made me not want to go back again. Our waitress was great, she did all she could and felt our frustration with all the stables we expected were gone. Also a vip (the owner) came in and all other customers service stopped. I have never had such a bad dinning experience as we did this night."

"The food and drinks we had at Red Square were absolutely wonderful! I had the Beef Stroganoff, and my husband had the Filet. We ordered the meatballs for an appetizer, and they were possibly the best I'd ever had! We then shared the Creamed Spinach and Mini Baked Potatoes with our meals. The drinks, especially my first-ever Moscow Mule, were very refreshing. We will definitely make a return visit during our next trip to Mandalay Bay."

"We have dined at Red Square in Las Vegas many times and this visit we returned with optimism as those previous dining experiences were so memorable. Unfortunately, this experience was a stark contrast to our other visits. The dining experience during this visit was very disappointing. Service was lack luster and the presentation of the food was disappointing (steak on a large white plate). Given the dining choices in Vegas this experience was unacceptable. In previous visits the wait staff and management showed great interest in making sure we experienced a delightful evening. This time we felt like specks on the wall. We were saddened by this experience"

"After we waited 20 minutes for a table, we were seated in the bar area and it was very crowded and noisy. When I requested a table in the restaurant area, she stated it would be another 30-40 minutes. Eating with people crowded around your table and not being able to hear each other talk was not a great dining experience. The food was good."

"Best Beef Stroganoff I've ever had. The salad with fried goat cheese, was great as well. Great drinks and atmosphere. Didn't go in "The Vault" for a bottle of vodka, but I heard it is something you should experience here."

"Food is awesome & very tasty. Drinks are also very good, but are very pricey!! I had 2 drinks and came to $36...more than my dinner, which was $28!! Waitress was friendly, and very courteous & attentive. Restaurant is very noisy and can be congested. But food & drinks are worth it. They recently changed staffing to beautiful, young ladies all around, which the men will appreciate that!!"

"Location is easy to get to (Very close to the Valet Partking at Mandalay Bay). The food was excellent. My husband had the Tuna Tartare appetizer which was not overpowering with the tuna. My Hibachi Skewers were fabulous. I would have gladly paid more for this as an entree. My husband had the Tomahawk Steak for an appetizer and it was prepared beautifully. I was told the Grilled Prawns had 8 prawns, but it was served with only 6. However those 6 were excellent. Perhaps the best surprise of the night was the grilled Bacon Brussel Sprouts!!! THe menu is a little on the price side, but worth an occasional splurge!!"

"Visited the Red Square expecting the food and drinks that I had enjoyed on several occasions. I found the resturant under new management with a new menu. They had changed my favorite drink and the new drinks were hit and miss. They had also changed their signature Main course the beef stoganoff. The new version was quite good but I was missing the old one."

"Did several business dinners here over the years and had a great time. Took my wife for a 30th anniversary dinner and willing to spend enough money to make it memorable. :( Couldn't believe that two $42 steaks would have to be sent back to make them right. Even the Broccoli had to be sent back to warm it up. Finally the Lava cake was cold in the middle. Something was not right. The restaurant made no effort make amends...oh yeah they comp'd the lava cake. Forgot to mention that the bottle of wine I wanted was not available. Seems like a change of management ocurred since my business dinners."

"We were there Valentine's Evening. Initially were seated in the bar. So noisy, we could hardly carry on conversation and felt as if we were dining with either party adjacent to us (too crowded). Asked to move but were told not possible. Wasn't until my wife presses issue and finally seated us in main room which was quieter and a more private ( not quite sure who they were saving this table for?!?)
Must have been an unusually busy night as meal took 3 hours! However, food was excellent as was atmosphere & waiter was working his tail off! We enjoyed it and would give them another chance. Trout cavier was delicious and vodka drinks were great."

"The new mgmt at The Red Square has kept the good things about the restaurant mostly intact. The food was good, service acceptable but the noise and choice of music was a little loud and a little too hip-hop. Also, there was previously a wonderful martini menu at the bar that we always enjoyed looking thru and trying different martinis. Now there are only a handful of martini choices.
We would come back to The Red Square in the future but it is not quite the romantic, sophisticated spot that we enjoyed in the past."

"Forget a lot of the reviews that are posted here. I had never been to Red Square before and I went with two coworkers and a client. The atmosphere was vibrant, colorful and energetic. Cocktails were fun and lovely albeit pricey. We had the buffalo chicken wraps and the skewers. Both delicious. I had the steak with 2 sauces for dinner and it was excellent. My coworkers lobster pasta was amazing. Had the s'mores dessert and the apple pie - both great. The service could not have been better. All in all, we had a memorable and entertaining evening and I would recommend it to friends. Such a fun place!!"
