This January, Little Italy's GoldBar, is re-opening with a fresh take on the concept & design, transforming the lounge into a modern hybrid locale. Internationally renowned Bartender Tim Cooper to create a mixology and ingredient driven drink program dedicated to providing high-quality, approachable cocktails within a spirited atmosphere. In addition, a highly-curated beer & wine selection is available on the list.

A new list of small sharable plates offers an ideal accompaniment to the bar’s potent libations. The menu, developed by Ulrich Sterling, is served daily. New dishes to include: Pressed braised shortrib sandwich with Munster cheese on pizza Bianca & “Goldfingers," Yukon gold tater tot with black truffle and parmesean aolli

"Not exactly the best lounge/bar I've been too but it wasn't bad.The decor, starting with those amazing front doors, is great. The waitress was nice and the drinks were pretty good too.The bacon wrapped dates are a great concept (I've had them in other restaurants) but I think GoldBar deep fries them making the tastes old and greasey.The tuna tartar tacos, kobe sliders and crustini bread were pretty good though. We got there at 9 pm and the place was empty, which we like because we aren't a fan of crowds of people bumping our drinks around and constantly having to make little spaces for people to walk passed.It quickly picked up around 10:30pm starting with a nice mix of pop,underground hip-hop and house and the crowds followed shortly after"

"We got there right as it opened and were the only group there for about an hour. The food and drinks were outstanding. A little pricey but par for the course as far as trendy Manhattan tapas go. I will definitely go back next time later in the evening."

"Loved the decor. Staff deserves a three and a half as she was often times out of sight. However, five stars for allowing my party of five to stay until 2am without complaint (tip over 30% and be appreciative ). DJ on a Thursday night was ROUGH. His transitioning was poor and I can only hope for better on a Friday. Cocktails are not as expensive as you would think. I would certainly say go with a group. Xoxoxo"

"Great place, but we didn't stay long because the food was a bit expensive for dinner and at 8pm on a Friday we were the only group there. More of a late-night eating place (after 10, 11?)"
