"Benjamin is a lovely and modern space, not too loud, especially if seated upstairs. The service is attentive. I've dined there several times, and I always think the food is ok. i don't find the menu or the preparation to be any thing out of the ordinary. Having said that, I will go back again because we are very low on fine dining options on the North Shore."

"Went there last Saturday night, after purchasing a Groupon. What a wonderful surprise. We were seated upstairs and for a time had the upstairs to ourselves. The food was wonderful, especially the caesar salad with white anchovies, the tuna and shrimp special, in a very flavorable broth. Who would have thought that coconut crusted tuna could be so delicious. The dessert that we shared--bananas with caramel sauce in an open crepe, with ice cream on the side, was to die for. Some slight negatives--the chicken was a little dry and the wine by the glass selection somewhat limited."

"This was my first time at Benjamin I heard they had a new menu and wanted to try it out. We were seated right at our reservation time. The wait staff was very friendly and attendant. The food was outstanding! The Beet salad was excellent, as was our friend's grilled cesar salad - and the portions were very generous. My Moroccan Stew had rich flavors and lots of seafood while my husband's beef ribs were tender and perfect. The dinner was priced right where we would expect for a Saturday evening out. We will definitely go back."

"Wonderful Valentine dinner. The dinner was a set five course meal with two options for each course. My husband and I decided it would be fun to order each offering for each course and taste everything. It was the right thing to do. We loved all the food. We were amazed that this was only $50 each. It would have been a bargain at $60."

"What a surprise! Fresh decor, excellent food- the use of in-season ingredients means the menu changes with the season and you may not find your signature favorite- but the chef is up to the task and keeps the menu fresh (pun intended). A good wine selection and an attentive staff tops off a lovely evening."

"Food was good. Pretzels instead of bread was interesting although the cheese/mustard sauce served with them was nothing special. We have eaten at several other similar type of places where the food was just as good or better and the prices were a little lower. Also, all wines by the glass were listed as house wines instead of by the winery and vintage. You had to order a bottle to get a named wine. That drove my husband crazy as he is a bit of of wine junkie. The house wines might have been good but we didn't order. Nice atmosphere. We would go back again but not necessarily at the top of our list."

"The reastaurant is nice. Some of the food we tried was very good some was average. My main issue is the wine list was horrible. They have only a few house wines by the glass and the bottle list was below par. The only wines worth ordering were over $100 which wasn't what we were looking for."
