"Went for lunch on Saturday with an out of town friend and found the food good but the menu was quite small. Service was spotty as our original sever wasnt up on the menu items and had trouble when one of the guests asked for gluten free options."

"Went to Poppy Den with my family on a Friday evening. I called ahead to ensure that they had a Kid's Menu. Overall, they are trying hard but they totally whiffed with us.
1. Took a long time for cocktails to come (twice). Waiter apologized profusely both times. 2. Kids menu was decent but when they brought the food out, it was definitely not food for kids. Oregano on the spaghetti with meatballs is something that no parent would ever feed their 6 year old. For the other who just wanted noodles with butter they put Parmesan cheese. Again, most kids like things simple. 3. Our food was decent but certainly nothing to be impressed about.
The outside was nice and the waiter was pretty good but there are many more choices in Ti"

"From appetizers to dessert, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. My friend and I had the drink called the "Silk Road", which was delicious, but I did not like that it was served in a tea cup, plus my cup was considerably smaller than my friend's cup. I much prefer consistency in all items that are served."

"The miso salmon was cooked so perfectly moist and tender, I was amazed. Get it medium rare as they suggest. Perfect! The sweet pea soup is also quite tasty."

"Great food. Very modern and sophisticated but approachable. Portions are on the small side which is great if you want to try several which I highly recommend. Great for foodies and fans of Top Chef. We lucked out and Angelo was there that night. He was nice enough to come over to meet us, take a photo with us, and even brought us complimentary tequila shots for our birthdays. We were even welcomed by one of the owners and the general manager. Sake sangria was excellent - light and refreshing. Wait staff were very nice. Food came quickly but we were able to sit and linger and enjoy more drinks and dessert. This place is about 20 min from the Strip but worth the drive! Thanks Poppy Den, for a fun evening!! I hope to return soon."

"I was so excited to try Angelo saso's food and was quite disappointed. The only redeeming thing was the new food experience of black pepper in my whipped cream. It was tantilizing to the taste! Other than that it did not make me want to return."

"I am a huge fan of the Chef here, Angelo Sosa. This was my first opportunity to eat at one of his restaurants and he did not disappoint. It is a bit of a drive from the Strip, but well worth it. My personal favorite was the chicken wings. My wife loved the tomato soup. We tried the pork belly. A tad overcooked, but still wonderful flavor. The menu offered a lot of other interesting options that we want to try the next time we go. We are definitely going to go back the next time we are in Vegas."

"Loved it. We had the tomoato soup and watermellon goat cheese salad to start, then both had Poppy Burgers, mine without the egg. We were too full for desert, but will be back again for brunch. Next time we will bring our little dog to sit with us outside!"

"My husband I specifically came in for Poppy Den's participating in Three Square Restaurant Week. I had been to Poppy Den before, but my husband did not. We had a nice dinner and enjoyed our evening there. Out waiter was friendly and there seemed to be lots of staff buzzing around helping patrons, delivering food, supporting the waiter, etc. We had duck and salmon, which were both delicious and well prepared. We ordered the Kimchi fried rice, which was going to ultimately be the deciding factor on how he thought the food of the entire establishment was. He said it was interesting, flavorful and very good. Lots of people outside because the weather was nice...the restaurant has a good vibe."

"The soup was very good not hot enough for my liking tempature wise. The duck breast was cooked perfect and very tasty. The bokchoy was stringy and not the best choice to have with the duck. The desert was not off the charts just OK.The service was quick and attentive. The meal overall I would give a 7 out of ten rating."

"A cool, trendy scene that would fit right in on The Strip, or hip parts of New York and L.A.The asian-fusion food was very good - if not memorable, the service was friendly and effiient and the prices were fair. We would definitely go back."

"Excellent service and a great menu. The food is Asian-inspired and very tasty. I love the unique qualities that the dishes have, from kimchee ketchup to mango crab on toast. The tab was around 100 dollars for 3 small plates and 3 large with 2 bottles of flat water. Overall, a great experience and a place I will eat at again."

"I have been here a couple of times. I love that they have different rooms with different ambiance. We ate at the bar the first time, then upstairs in the dining area which is a little darker ambiance and also includes a lounge. The dark red decor in the upstairs dining feels romantic. The food is amazing... favorites are the watermelon salad, the devil egg tuna tartar and potstickers. The cocktails are amazing!! A must try!!! Note: I think the upstairs lounge is only open part of the week at this time so check ahead if you want to be in that room. Otherwise downstairs is just a cool."

"Chicken wings were over battered and too oily. Salads were dropped from a bag onto a plate and over dressed. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Portions are huge. Better than the Greek place that used to be there ,but with Honey Salt across the street and more celebrity chefs coming ,unless they step the food up 2 or more notches its bound to be history."

"While the food flavors and presentations were a "party in your mouth" and our server was attentative and performed well, the delivery time from the kitchen for both appetizers and entrees was totally unacceptable. At one point I was unsure if we would even receive our entrees. If not for the exceptional quality and flavor of the food, We would not go back."

"I had to order a second entree to compensate for the small portion on my first entree. Between the background music and poor acoustics the noise level was so high that our table of 4 couldn't hear each other talking. Great if you want that energy but not if you want to talk over dinner."

"The Good--Friendly Hosts and Servers. Tasted the Korean Ribs, Crab Toast, Deviled Tuna and Miso Salmon which were very good. Watermelon Salad and Pineapple Quinoa were good but not great. The Bad--Service was poor. They forgot to bring my Deviled Tuna and when I asked about it they said they were preparing the fresh tuna in the kitchen. When it came out, the Miso Salmon main dish was served 3 minutes later, leaving me the choice of finishing the appetizer or having lukewarm miso salmon. My wife ordered a second glass of wine but it took more than 5 minutes to arrive. Because it was my mother's 88th birthday she was offered a complimentary desert--which they then charged me for on the bill, until I pointed it out, and they promptly removed i"

"Our food and service was great! The hubby had the miso salmon and I had the the potatoes and steak. Both were fabulous!! They were melt in your mouth. We had ordered the tabouleh wraps to start, but the waiter let us know that it was going to be a 30 min wait for them. So, we ordered the ribs and they were fantastic! The waiter was kind, attentive, and on top of his game. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"We were greeted by the hostess and asked if we wanted a booth or a table. I asked for a booth. While we waited she asked us if we wanted free champaign at the bar. We did. Every night is free champaign for Ladies 5 to 630. We waited over 20 minutes to be informed that the booth was still not ready. We opted for the Table. Annoying to be asked to wait The place is very loud. Our waiter was very nice. We shared the Pau Pau platter. Cold pea soup, ahi tuna, fried fish balls, meat balls, watermelon and goat cheese. The toasted bread for the Tuna was quit soggy, no serving spoons to help split the apps. Fish balls way to fishy. Otherwise the apps were tasty.Entree, Salmon We also had the fried quinoa with pinapple which was very. Not a Repe"

"This was our 2nd visit for dinner. Our first was on the 9th, they had just opened on the 1st of January. On the 9th our experience was perfect. Great drinks, food, service, every aspect was PERFECT. Second visit, not so much. The drink we had and fell in love with (piece of my heart), was still on the drinks menu although we were informed that it was coming off. This is a great drink, but I was told that it has egg froth on top which my vegetarian friend was not happy to hear.... Thankfully she is not vegan. We also ordered again the caesar salad that we were so happy on the first visit did NOT have anchovies, did have ponzu in the uzu dressing and an unfortunate addition of white fish that was not good OR necessary. This my vegetarian frie"
