"We went for a Mother's Day brunch and the food and service were outstanding. They offer several price fixe brunches/lunches and it was difficult to choose which one to order; they were all delicious."

"The most aggravating meal we've ever had. They made us wait for half an hour for our reservation (but sat people who came in after we did who claimed to have a reservation at the same time. Took forever just to get a glass of water and a side order of rice. Order came all wrong. To top it all off, when the manager came to ask how we were doing, she walked away before we started speaking. Rude. We used to eat here frequently. Have even had functions here. We're never eating at Elaine's again."

"This is a good restaurant. The service was excellent but the food although good was not great. The hot and sour soup was not spicy enough and was not hot (heated) enough but it tasted good. Spicy shrimp were great. Beef with oyster sauce was inconsistent - some pieces of beef were tender and some were barely chewable. Soup dumplings were good but you only get four. Make it six and charge more. Overall, I would definitely try Elaine's again to sample more dishes."

"Interesting, I rated each individual experience as very good but taken as a whole it bring's this restaurant up to in total to an outstanding overall experience. This is a neighborhood restaurant that works to be more than just a typical neighborhood restaurant and they succeed! If you like sweet dishes try the shrimp and walnut - excellent. The sushi is also very good. This is a restaurant you will keep going back to."
