"I was extremely disappointed. The price was excessive and the quality of both food and service did not merit. Our server rushed us to order and the place was empty. He wasn't slammed with customers. He kept coming over during our drinks to ask if we wanted to order and once we ordered, we never saw him again. The wait to get dessert was exceptionally long. A screaming child came in with her parents and the staff did nothing to subdue the situation. The child quieted down just as we were about to leave. I expected a higher level of both food service and ambiance when an entree is $60 and includes no salad."

"Given the lack of customers you would think that the prices would be moderate. However, the prices were at the top of the market for a steakhouse, but the steaks and sides were not worth the price. Overall a good meal, but not spectacular as the price would warrant."

"A good friend recommended The Falls since we were planning to be in Palm Springs for the week...and I must say this was the best dinner we had the entire stay! The food, ambiance, and service were all amazing! The filet mignon just melts in your mouth...oh so delish!! And the creme brulee....mmmmmm! We will definitely be back!"

"The restaurant is known for it's "lava" martinis. I would go back for a drink, but there are other places I would go for dinner. We thought it would be nice to sit outside, the weather was perfect, but there is too much street noise and the outside area is immediately adjacent to too many bar-type and kid friendly restaurants, definitely sit inside if you are going to stay to eat."

"We had a great dinner here. We had a perfect table out on the balcony that overlooked the street, but the restaurant is far enough back to not be bothered by the noise of traffic. Easy to watch the people pass by. The have great cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. We were so full we did not have room for dessert, but they were very tempting. We look forward to eating there again soon."

"the food has gone down a little, but it is still good--the female hostess was a real witch spelled with a "B". Her attitude was that we were doing HER a favor of eating there,not in reserve. AT one point she outright lied to us about the availablity of a table--still open when we left the restaurant. We have been going there for years, next month we will be trying someplace else. I will not put up with that kind of attitude when going out for dinner. Our watress Deseree was FANTASTIC !!the only saving point of the evening"

"Second time at the Falls on our annual spring vacation to Palm Desert. Love the location, especially on the Village Fest Thursday night. Great view of the street on balcony table. Let's not forget about the delicious food. We were four and everyone loved their meal. I had tuna with the strawberry salad. Others took advantage of the prix fix (sp?) menu and were happy with their choices. Our waitress Desiree (our second time with her and she genuinely seemed to remember us) was attentive, knowledgable, and very relaxed and friendly. We first tried the restaurant on a whim, but thought it might disappoint since it was heavily advertised and therefore perhaps too touristy. We were WRONG. It was a top notch restaurant in a primo location."

"It was our first time at The Falls. It came as a recommendation from my business partner and we were not let down. The staff was exceptional, the service superb, and the food itself was wonderful. Honestly, the experience was so professional and courteous we actually commented on it walking out. Great location in the heart of Downtown.
We looked up at the balcony tables overlooking the main drag in Palm Springs and jokingly said, "That would be a cool place to eat". Sure enough, we asked at the front, received a great smile and were led to the balcony table. Overall, an extremely GREAT experience!!"

"We sat on the Terrace overlooking the street fair on a thursday night. It was a bit chilly. Thinking it would improve, heater not the greatest. we should have moved inside. The pasta/seafood dish for 30.00- not worth it, mostly Pasta! Crab cake should have been baked! The birthday Dessert was a nice touch for my husband!"

"There were 5 of us there for my wifes Birthday. 4 different meals were selected from the menu and all 4 got excellent comments from the diners. The desserts (Mississippi Mud Pies) were fantastic. The only disappointment was with the Spanish Coffee after. NO WHIPPED CREAM on it"
