"I enjoyed this restaurant. I didn't order from the lunch menu or breakfast, but ordered the appetizers. I had calimare, it was perfect, then spazzle with kale that was fried, different and delicious and ended with baked brie with apples, pears, grapes and carmel.

"Went there for mothers day for brunch with my wife and a mutual friend. We all enjoyed our food. I didn't think it was as bad as the many negative reviews. Only complaint was that the waitress wasn't that familiar with menu (what comes with each dish). I would eat there again. I had the steak benedict and thought it was excellent."

"We had a great experience at Vita!. We went at 5:15 so we could enjoy happy hour. Our serve Randy was so helpful and accommodating. My husband and I were there with our 30 year old daughter and 88 year old mother. Everyone enjoyed their food choices. They were beautifully presented, and were equally as delicious. The prices for our wine choices and beer were exceptional for the quality. We will definitely recommend this restaurant, and look forward to returning in the near future."

"There were only 4 other people in the entire restaurant. Red flag. I had the french toast, it was nicely presented but was soggy and unpleasant. One other person in the party had steak and eggs and the other had a sandwich. Both said it was good. Since I was treating they might not have wanted to complain. The other person in the party also had the french toast but didn't complain. She is only 10 years old."

"Dropped by for dinner this week. We were looking for a place that had intentional menu options for vegans with a decent array of carnivore options. Vita delivered well enough that while I went vegan, my friend went vegetarian. The food was excellent -- well designed, well crafted, and delicious. The only downside was that the entrees were a bit on the small side, so that even with three courses, we came away slightly hungry, but that may have more to do with the vegetarian/vegan options than the carnivore entrees."

"We came for the 5280 menu and found the food immensely exceeded our expectations. We loved everything we had. Our favorites--the dijon spaetlze with just the right amount of tang and flavorful brussel sprouts, the salmom tartare with roasted beets and (loved those) crunchy wontons and the mushroom risotto conveying just enough thyme and reminding us of our Mom's famous pilaf. Sitting at an elevated table in a quiet area, we enjoyed both excellent service and the ability to have a good conversation."

"Good. Not great, but good. We don't live near it so I doubt we would go back but wanted to give it a try. Our table was right behind a bar and service setup which may have been the worse seat in the place. I could have turned my chair around and gotten my own ice and drinks. The whole restaurant smelled of fish.The server was very nice but maybe in the weeds a bit at times. Other servers brought food to tables which is great and the food was hot. Nice food presentation.The menu sounded better than the actual food. Their drink menu seemed very good and I seldom pay attention to those.Overall my food was greatly over salted which was odd since there were no salt and pepper shakers on any tables."

"A party of 6 celebrated a birthday at Vita and the staff did a great job making it a special evening for the guest of honor. The service was timely and the entrees were delicious. I highly recommend the Kale Salad and Grilled Pork Tenderloin.
The only downfall of the evening was the Apple Crisp dessert. While the guest of honor enjoyed her Chocolate Cake (large portion) the rest of us ordered the Apple Crisp which was too small of a portion. I don't think a whole apple was used in the dessert. Overall, Vita is the perfect place to dine."

"I took my friend to Vita for her birthday and we absoloutely enjoyed the menu, the ambience, the service, and especailly the food. Everything was cooked to perfection, there was great energy given to the food combinations and the plating was tasteful.
The service was great. We would deffinitely return for lunch, dinner and brunch and are looking forward to the opening of their rooftop dining. Nobody will be dissapointed with this wonderful new gem of a restaurant"

"I enjoyed everything we ordered especially the wild boar ragu it was amazing! Our tables only complaint was a steak that came out medium rare when we asked for it to be medium well. Our server fixed the problem promptly."

"Hadn't been to Vita in years. Enjoyed it but at times had to struggle to hear my companions, as did they me. Very noisy. Decor is attractive but mostly hard surfaces that amplify sound. Not the place for an intimate get together. Food was good and attractively presented."

"I ate at Vita around 3 years ago and decided to give it another go. Now I remember why it took me 3 years to go back: The food is average for the price. The apps were so-so. No real pop in the flavor. The entrees took forever to get to our table. Nearly every waiter came up to our table to tell us "sorry for the wait and the food will ready soon". After 40 minutes (after we finished the apps), the food came. The Steak Frites were average and nothing to celebrate. The Atlantic salmon was good, but again, nothing to celebrate. Neither person in my party thought this restaurant was worth returning to. There are way better restaurants in Denver for the same price that offer way better food."
