"La Luna Rossa is our most favorite Italian restaurant. We had lost track of them for 3 years after their move, but was ecstatic to refind them. We go there whenever we are celebrating a special occasion or if we want a great meal. I have been to Italy and since coming back, had not been able to find the same quality of food, until we refound La Luna Rossa!!"

"La Luna Rossa has been a long-time favourite for that "family feel, great home-made meal". From the personal attention when you arrive to the wonderful quality of the meal, La Luna Rossa will remain an easy choice. for this meal, the smoked salmon and calamari appetizers were ample and delicious. The ravioli and lasagna main course dishes were thoroughly enjoyed."

"We had the seafood chowder for a starter and it was phenomenal. The lasagna was a delicious and the veal and scallopini truly perfect. The butter nut squash Lavoisier was the only disappointment of the day. The pasta was dry, the filing tasteless and sparse and the butter or olive oil that accompanied it heavy and uncomplimentary. This was the only dish that was disappointing and we would not be recommended. This is a great place to eat and we would have given it a 5 for overall and food if not for the ravioli."

"Classic neighborhood family owned restaurant and you can see it in everything. Our waitress was very friendly and she knew what she was doing. As she said, she was doing dishes at this restaurant as soon as she was born.Have you ever been to a restaurant where you ask for fresh ground pepper and the girl brings it and doesn't even know how to use the pepper mill properly? Well, this girl knew how to use a pepper mill!! Now this might not be a big thing to some, but this was just one of many little things that when combined together sets this Italian restaurant above a lot of the others, that and the food was AMAZING!!! Of course we will go back..........again and again."

"Nice little Italian restaurant. The service was excellent and the ambiance was nice. We were there on Valentines Day and they did not have us all squeezed in together so you had room enough for a quiet conversation, which was a nice surprise. The appetizer (plate of eggplant, olives, peppers, etc) and salad (ceasar & caprese) were all really good, but my wife and I both had the lasagna and it was somewhat disappointing. I'd go there again, but I'd order a different main course."

"My wife and I are always seeking new restaurants and although Ristorante La Luna Rossa has been open a few years, because we live in the South end of town we had never tried it before Saturday.
what a pleasant surprise !!
Food was terrific, the service was pleasant and attentive. The room was very comfortable and energetic
Very good home made italian bread, pasta and Calabrese sausage.
We will definitely be going back"

"Good value for the money. Very good quality - hearty, well cooked food. Nothing fancy but flavourful. Simple presentation on the plate. The feel of a family run restaurant (I don't know if it actually is or not. I would go there again."

"Food was good but not as good as I had anticipated from the reviews I had read on Urban Spoon and OpenTable. The service from the moment we walked in the door until we left was extremely friendly and welcoming (server did make a mistake on providing me with incorrect appetizer but it was still tasty). Ambiance was biggest disappointment."
