Trattoria Rosa Bianca is a family-owned authentic Italian BYOB located in a charming Victorian home in the heart of Yardley. Our menu showcases delicacies from all over Italy, from Northern regions to Sicily. We offer well-styled favorites such as Nonna’s polpette as well as seasonal choices like our insalata de pera designed by Chef Anthony Boccella. "I met my wife here for our 30th Anniversary. We picked this place because I work primarily on "road" as a consultant and we wanted to meet...We found Trattoria Rosa and decided to place a reservation. We were greatly surprised with the "quant-ness", and the food was "off the chart" good. It is a BYOB and I suggest bring a bottle and stay awhile. The pasta fagoilo was the best I have ever had. The food was fresh and plentiful. For dessert...I recommend the Tiramisu, it was the most unique presentation and was excellent. My wife and I found a new place to eat. If you like Italian, and want a quite quaint place to eat - this is the place!"

"After 3 visits since opening, I can say the restaurant is good, but I keep expecting more. There have been some inconstancies (second visit 6 months ago was sub-par food and service), but those seem to have been worked out. Noise level is high, but that is a legitiment style (albeit a bit odd for the look of the restaurant). Worth going, but needs to find the x-factor to stand out in the area and last long term."

"Our experience was perfect! We started with the arancini (rice balls) and the mussels as appetizers and both were phenominal! Portion size was perfect for sharing and both were so flavorful! Our entrees were also delicious and the service was very attentive and accomodating. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we look forward to going back again and again!"

"I recently took my family to Rosa Bianca's for Mother's Day. The atmosphere was pleasant and the decor was bright and welcoming. The late afternoon reservations were arranged online, which was very easy and convenient. The service was a bit slow at first, probably due to the holiday. We ordered an appetizer of rice balls which are always delicious and filled with a good portion of meat. I also ordered mussels. They were plump and looked terrific although lacked flavor. They aren't in season yet so not doubt they were farm raised. The broth saved the day. It was delicious and was also perfect for dunking our bread into. I got the bracciole and my wife got the ribs. Both entrees were tasty and plentiful. We will recommend and return."

"I dined here for the first time with a friend for lunch o Friday. I was greeted by name, and the service was friendly and attentive without being at all intrusive. We had mozzarella. as an appetizer and it was truly outstanding. My friend had a special salad with flank steak and pronounced it delicious. My salad was a perfect blend of shrimp, grilled chicken and lettuce with a great lemony dressing. We shared a cannoli dessert ( it comes with 2) It was amazingly fresh; my friend thought it was the best cannoli she ever had. It was also not too sweet. I hope to return soon with husband. We did sit outside, but inside the restaurant is also quite pretty."

"This was our first visit to the restaurant and we would return. The staff and ambiance were pleasant, and although the bread was average and not warmed, a pleasant surprise was the included house salad. While our server informed us of the cost of the specials, which all restaurants should do, unless they are in line with their other selections on the menu, the veal chop was a little pricy. The braciola was tasty but somewhat tough."

"My husband and I had dinner on a Friday evening.. We were seated in the front room which was pleasant and relatively quiet. Service was excellent. We started with the house salad which was good. My husband had soup which he enjoyed. The bread was average. For entrees, my husband chose home-made pasta bolognese which was good. I chose the roasted lemon chicken which was tough. Tiramisu for dessert was very good. Not sure I would return."

"The center of Yardley is a quaint area that, while not truly a travel destination in itself, gives locals the feeling of being on vacation without the hassle of actually traveling. The building and the dining area of Trattoria Rosa Bianca do nothing to detract from Yardley's charm -- the feeling of being someplace old-fashioned, someplace you would want to go to for a change of pace. My dining experience was exactly this, a vacation.
I should spend just as much time describing my meal as I did the ambiance but not being a food expert I will say that my meal was good, as should be expected and, overall I would gladly return to try more menu items.
Bring a date, a bottle of wine and have the chocolate cake -- I know my dessert!"

"For our first visit to Trattoria Rosa Bianca, we were amazed at how wonderful the experience was. The ambiance is great as the refurbished house is just beautiful. The food is exceptional. Started with a Mozzarella in Carozza which was great. Fresh Mozzarella lightly fried in a Italian bread and covered in a wonderful Pomodora sauce. I had a Pesce Striato which was a combo of Shrimp, Mussels, Scungilli and Calamari in a tomato bases sauce that had some spice but was very tasty. My wife had a freshly prepared Sea Bass over vegetables that she really loved. The veggies were not soaked in butter or oil as many places do. Had some Pasta Puttanesca which was great and for dessert a to die for Chocolate Torte. The place is a BYOB too. Excellent."

"My family of four was very excited to try out this restaurant since it is right in our neighborhood! We thought it was beautiful inside and out. Our server was very friendly. The food was delicious - the only thing - the price for the amount of food we received. It is quoted as family style portions, but all four of us were in agreement that there should have been more food for the price we paid. We ordered 2 different pasta dishes as well as 2 different meat dishes - all were delicious, but we were definitely surprised at the amount of food (not much) on the plates."

"Finally, Yardley has a restaurant I want to go to. It's a step up from the "red-sauce Italian restaurants already, but I'd like to see them get a little more adventurous now that they're established. I've now been there 5 times - the food and service are consistently very good. And, love the fact that it's a BYOB!"

"I truly enjoyed my two dining experiences at Trattoria Rosa Bianca. The menu has something for everyone and the dishes are simply scrumptious. The hearty portions left little room for dessert, but somehow I seemed to accommodate them. The quality of service varies by server. The first visit, our server was very attentive and helpful. The second server, not so much. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Italian cuisine. It is a welcome addition to the Yardley dining scene."

"We like this restaurant because it's byo and because we can walk to it. The food is usually very good. The atmosphere is lacking. We've gone during the week and most of the time the loud patrons at the next table were distracting. Saturday was better because you couldn't hear the conversations of adjacent tables because with all the tables filled, it was too loud. Nice change from during the week."

"The service and food were wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful. My only issue was that my husband and I were out for a nice quiet dinner on a Saturday night and we were put in a room with two different tables that had children seated at them. It was a bit crowded so I didn't ask for a different table."

"It was our third time there and we keeping wishing it would improve. The food is outstanding, which is why we've gone back, but the service is not what you'd expect from a fine restaurant in this price range. And the noise level doesn't help. We sat on the first level this time, specifically requesting that as we had sat up on the noisy third level the other times. Unfortunately, this was no better. They need some acoustical improvements to buffer the sound. The waiter was pleasant enough but not as timely or attentive as he should have been. It wasn't as if they were crowded, maybe just understaffed."

"Great addition to the town. Restaurant was a former house, and dining rooms are series of small rooms--like former bedrooms, dining room, living room. Tables should be rearranged in some areas. For example, my party of 4 sat practically in the middle of a main walkway near the lobby. Restaurant is loud, yes, which is fine for groups of people. Food is very good and very reasonable. Desserts are excellent."

"Our fifth visit was as nice as our first. We worked polpette into our order as always. One of the most addictive menu items anywhere, and the kitchen is always open to pairing them with other antipasti, primi, or secondi. At our server's suggestion, I ordered an off-menu pasta course -- gnocchi carbonara. Very pleasant. The pork osso bucco over polenta worked very well. My wife said the house-made taglitelle was delightful.
Special occasion or dinner before a concert or play, date night or family dinner out -- these folks will treat you right. Bring Tuscan wine."

"Like others have said, it's nothing special here. It was disappointing and we won't be going back again. We went for a romantic dinner and it reminded us of a college frat party or bar. It was so unbelievably LOUD!!! We were actually yelling at one another to talk and skipped out on dessert. We ordered the Risotto Balls, Mussels, Braciola, and a special Risotto w/seafood. Mussels were bland w/no flavor in the sauce. It reminded me of chicken broth. Braciola was decent w/polenta but broccoli rabe was very bitter and had no sauce, garlic, olive oil etc to balance it out. Salads were bitter w/no offsets and was made of bitter greens and a tomato. Risotto Balls were ok too. Special Risotto was good. Service ok."

Main course - fruiti de mar small but tasty. Asked for white sauce and they accommodated. It was peppery though. Veal milanese dry, but greasy. Veal was pounded too thin.
Dessert - lemon tart excellent
Service - as it should be for this level of restaurant
Ambiance - sat downstairs and it was a beautiful foyer, but bland looking dining room. The sheer white curtains looked cheap. The room needs color.
Overall - not bad, but not great. This place has a lot of potential. Wouldn't rush back though."

"When I arrived at the restaurant we were seated on the third floor, and there were a few people in the room. The couple across from us were served faster than I was. Then they were leaving and still Me and my guest were still waiting. Then my check was placed on the table and no one asked if we wanted dessert. To end the night I had to wait for about thirty minutes for someone to take my check. Not going there anymore for dinner, very poor taste in making me feel welcomed."
