At La Vita E Bella we provide authentic Italian food made with homemade sauces and pasta. We offer many seafood dishes inspired by our Sicilian roots and fresh Seattle offerings. Thin pizzas are baked fresh for our mouthwatering customers. We have a large wine selection and many antipasto platters (appetizers) that are perfect for a quick drink and snack on the go. With a live accordion player, our restaurant has a romantic atmosphere and welcoming environment ideal for locals and tourists alike. Owner Giuseppe Forte strives to offer affordable cuisine that pops with flavor and value. He personally buys the groceries several times a week to insure the best products, allowing prices to remain low and fair for our customers. "The food was great and the service was good. We had our son with us and he was served his pizza while we had our appetizers. Even though there was a large group of Prom kids in the restaurant as well as other patrons, we were served our dishes in a timely manner. If you like calamari, they have an excellent chilled squid with pesto appetizer that was a very delicious start to any meal."

"They were offering 8 different specials the night we were there. My girlfriend and I both ordered one of the specials and then we shared another special as an appetizer. All dishes were presented well and tasted great. Servers were overwhelmed and slow at times."

"Food was good but service was terrible. Felt very rushed. Salad had just arrived and they then delivered our main course. Staff was abrupt and ignored us for most of our meal. Asked for extra bread that was never delivered. Asked for wine list to order with dinner and no one ever took the wine order. Too bad because food was well prepared but overall experience was bad."

"I've been here several times in the past and never had a problem with the service. My latest outing to celebrate an anniversary with my partner saw poor service after our food was delivered. We were not sufficiently checked on and had to wait extended lengths of time for both ordering dessert and getting our check. The server was too busy chatting with a person sitting at the bar. There was only one other occupied table in our section and I witnessed them having to go up to the bar and ask for their check too.
Otherwise the wine selection is good and the food is pretty amazing. I'm vegetarian and don't have problems finding delicious entrees."

"I would probably recommend the Pizza . A few of the pasta dishes in our group were good..Salads were good. The fish and tenderloin were sub par. Prices were not sub par. Too many other places in Seattle with fresher, well prepared food. Wait staff was great and friendly."

"I came here for my birthday with a large group of friends, none of whom arrived at the same time. The staff was very accommodating, even when an extra person showed up and some of my friends were a little more than fashionably late. They were also very friendly. When the food came out, no one talked except to say "Mmmmmm". There was even a live accordion player who accompanied the staff as they sang happy birthday to me. The tiramisu was like nothing I've ever tasted - light, creamy, and cool. Best tiramisu I've had! You will not be disappointed with this restaurant."

"Food was really good, but the service was terrible. Had a reservation but still had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Clearly they didn't have enough people working for how busy it was. It took almost 30 minutes to have our order taken and the waiter was running around like a chicken with his head cut off. Had to ask for everything. Then it took another 10 minutes to get the check. We just wanted to get out of there, felt held hostage. Terribly disorganized place."

"We love La Vita E Bella! We had a 3 hour lovely dinner with our best friends on Friday night. Roberto our waiter treated us incredibly, food was outstanding, service impeccable, wine was terrific. We had an enchanting evening - mostly because of Roberto! This is our new favorite restaurant. We have been to Italy - we were transported back to Capri for a night! Truly an authentic Italian dining experience."

"We always enjoy this lively little place. unfortunately we were sitting right in front of the music, which was great, but it was hard to have a conversation, We should have asked for a different seat. We had the regular Lasagna and for as many times as we have had it, we all agreed that it dd not taste like the same recipe we had had before. Something has changed becuse it was very bland."
