Since we opened, Morso has been voted the best wine bar in Gig Harbor each year. With our pictureque waterfront view of Gig Harbor Bay, Morso is that comfortable neighborhood place to enjoy lunch, gather for Happy Hour, stay for dinner or hold a business meeting. Our menu selections are inspired and influenced by cuisines of the world along with wines from around the world and right in our backyard. "Went to Morso on a friday evening and the food was tasteless and bland. The service was slow and inaccurate due to the waitress being the only one working., which is unacceptable. The only thing going for this place is the view."

"First time we have been here, but won't be the last. We were particularly impressed with the service. Although she seemed to be covering all of the tables alone, our waitress was unflappable and charming. She noted right after opening our wine -- and before any of us had smelled or tasted it -- that it was corked and got another bottle immediately. We ordered a number of small plates to share -- all were tasty. Next time we'll try the main courses, which looked good going by to other tables.
Noise was moderate and conversation was easy, but on a busier night the room might get quite loud. There's outside seating with a nice view of Gig Harbor. Overall, a very pleasant place to have some wine and a meal."

"This is the second time I have eaten at Morso. The food is very good, the wait staff always very pleasant, but in a quiet way, not overly so like some places where they try too hard, though that is better than being aloof. Everything was good,and my friend liked her food, too. The only thing I noticed this time, and it is minor, was that the salad was a little wilty, and some greens seemed on their way out, but other than that, the food is fresh, tasty, and priced so you can try a number of things."

"This place is amazing the view alone is worth going for. The food was fantastic and generally I'm not a win person and the waitress suggested a bottle that was beyond my expectations I loved every moment and if nothing else I would go for just the ice cream it was by far the best I've ever had I could not say enough good things about this place I will forever be a loyal customer and I'm taking my mom for mothers day. However this is not a place for kids so please keep that in mind. This is a place for adults to get out and relax."

"The food is wonderful, tasty and well presented. I waited table years ago and recognise a well run establishment. The servers are knowlegable and professional, wine list is to die and the owner and staff know their wine. Now lets talk about the food: Yummy, yummy, yummy. I am picky and love to eat good food NOT lot's of food. If you like to smell, taste, see, and experience delicious meals in a small cozy place this is the one for you. It is not the best for children. In addition there are wine paring and wine tastes that are a blast. We have gone to a few and have met the most interesting folks. Fun and NOT stuffy and you should feel comfortable going solo to any event."

"Gig Harbor has several nice places for adults to eat.Add this one to the list. Morso is very nice and offers an a nice contemporary environment, spectacular view of Gig Harbor, great food and an incredible wine list. They have a special wine device that allows them to offer higher end wines by the glass without opening the bottle. Pretty cool. Check it out."

"Morso showcases art from different artists and has a wonderful view of the harbor. This was the second time that I've eaten there and the restaurant was lively and full. The waiter was attentive, competent, and friendly. The food is okay, not great, and is presented on the plate very well. There is an odd policy that prevents a person from getting a some things requested,in my case it was an unoaked Chardonnay, although it is available during happy hour. The policy seems to be to tell you that the restaurant had it, but the customer can't have it because it is only available during happy hour. The waiter broke the rule upon our table's insistence, and brought the wine I had wanted, which eased the awkwardness of the situation."

"Morso is my favorite place in Gig Harbor for happy hour. They have a great appetizer menu with a nice variety of little bites and, of course, a great wine list. It's a nice, intimate ambience where I can have a meal with a friend and not have to shout to be heard. In the summer, it's an outstanding location to sit on the deck and watch the boat traffic moving in and out of the harbor."
